Hey, 20+ year resident of Mableton here. People watching this should know the boundaries of the city are far more expansive than what’s depicted. The city covers a wide swath of South Cobb, including parts of unincorporated Mableton, Austell, and Smyrna. The population of the new city is in fact 77k. Keeping this in mind it’s worth noting that we have big box stores on the EW Connector, Walmart, Home Depot, Lowe’s, Target, and Cobb Wellstar Hospital. Six Flags and the Riverside Epicenter are on the far south side of the city. It’s also worth noting in addition to the City of Atlanta we are in close proximity to the Cumberland Mall and Battery which also offer a ton of amenities. I do agree that as a new city we have the opportunity to make Mableton even more appealing in the coming years. A final note on the city government, it is in transition for the next two years as it gets set up, hires staff, etc., in the meantime the County continues to manage. Lived there for 18 years and loved living there while it was unincorporated but you should have mentioned how close it is to the Battery and the Braves stadium and all the shops Macy’s etc and Costco which is 15 min from The Cobb exit off 285.

A long, long time ago I-285 was deemed "the bypass"; However with urban sprawl and uncontrolled development you are not "bypassing", anything by driving on I-285.

How often do you find homes with 4 or 5 bedrooms and a mother in law suite/apartment with a kitchen?
Preferably close to the Hampton Ga area
From what I have seen they are hard to find.
I noticed the in law apartments/suite can be found in older home.
Which is fine, especially if they have been updated.
I need my space and privacy😊
Therefore a in law suite/apartment is imperative.
