Raymond, I can see that you care about your channel and your viewers. You have such patience showing us a place . Nice video. Now I know more about Stone Mountain. Thank you Bro!
Great video brother! Thank you I just wish in the future you would interview some locals that live in the area so they can describe their experience living in the areas.
I hear you but that is a hard one. You will have to use the video for it's worth and just do your visit to come and visit and interact with the locals. I often tell my clients to talk to the bartenders, they will tell you EVERYTHING 🤣
Was born and raised here. I love my hometown. ❤ I used to walk up Stone Mountain 3 times a week. It is close to Atlanta without the prices. My parents moved here in the early 80s and were one of the first black families in the neighborhood. Some neighbors actively showed their distaste for diversity. 😮 By the time I was in the 3rd grade the demographics were definitely mostly Black.😊 but that has been the narrative of a lot of cities in metro Atlanta. I’ve witnessed it with my own eyes. Then we read comments of “ the area sure went down when such and such moved in”, but we all know that’s by design. ❤ be blessed and thanks for showing my hometown
I get nothing but realness and quality videos and perspective from this realtor y'all. That's why I subscribed. Let's get this guy to a million views, really if you do not have a realtor that gives you the real about the area and who is knowledgeable about these communities this is your guy. I have been taking my time to watch these videos and have had a realtor before to sell a condo who is also awesome but in a year my wife and I will have to reach out to this gentleman. Really my brother I'm super proud of you.
Thanks for the balanced look at the area. I was glad to see some new shops in the Village and wonder if there’s a push for redevelopment. I would agree with your point about the unbalanced neighborhoods. I love the proximity to the park and walk-up trail.
I'm really thankful for your videos. You answer a lot of very intuitive questions that we might have. And I've been watching your video about all of the neighborhoods now. Thank you for your channel. New subscriber
Thanks. I actually clicked on your channel to learn more about the futuristic outlook on the increase of property values/ gentrification in the Stone Mountain area... I think, or at least it is in the hopes that an increase in property value will precipitate current owners to fully vet individuals who they choose to rent to. Unfortunately, I did not do all of my homework before purchasing my home in Stone Mountain. The area is relatively quite as you have presented in your video. But there are murders every day. It also appears that every soul walking with a pit bull is selling drugs from our (HOA) view. And trust me, there is no mistake. I can't begin to state how many drugs sales that I have seen. The most recent was about 45 minutes ago - the time now is 5:05 pm. This activity might explain the gunfire. Next is the dog shit. They think it's okay to allow their dog to shit on a manicured lawn. Okay, now the hollering and screaming -like a change needs to happen quick in beautiful Stone Mountain. This is across Stone Mountain- just view the community blogs or Neighbors. Please update as change occurs. I will do the same as info is disseminated at community board meetings. Oh yes, the police are a joke as they rarely show.
this was on the top 10 list of richest and best black cities to live in. i see why now. officer tatum and cadance owens worst nightmare. a rich safe black community.
It's Georgia , what do you think ? Yes .. and there are generations of black people there .. and they get along with their white neighbors better than a lot of other places in the North . Stupid people cannot figure out that Black people are Southerners too ... and while they didn't like slavery and Jim Crowe they still love the South and the Hate for these monuments came from College Students in the North ... Dixie was still a symbol of the south ... Sure The Klan waved it but a lot of people , even though... Dixie is a Southern thing ... The North has No symbol ... Which makes them envious... Not once was there a complaint from blacks about Dixie. Many Black women were named Dixie . I knew 2 myself , One of who made the best damn biscuits youd ever ate .. And she was the sweetest and funniest lady.... Something Yankees have no Idea and older blacks think this whole thing is blow out of proportion...
It's actually alot nicer now. More well taken care of and Preserved and invested in. Stone Mountain used to be a back water of a town back in the 50s 60s and 70s.

I am looking to buy a rental apartment building

To meet Georgia just too small,. It just feels like you’re in a bubble.
Old slave town definitely. Bet clan still rally on Stone Mountain like it’s 1962.
From what I heard, Black people need to be more worried about other Black people there. Like gang murders and stuff.
@@paulcosta5854yes, it’s definitely not the place to let your guard down.
The school in that area is awful My sister home school kids.
I would like to know the demographic. Are there African Americans?
It's the south...

Stone Mountain use to be beautiful and nice but like some areas it has gone down when certain races move in.
