Why 30 on the bottom and 20 on roots?
@@izzyash2031so then wouldn’t it make more sense to do a level 10 roots, and a level 20 mid and ends?
@@ap6252004 10 volume only lifts one level and is used mainly to deposit color since it lifts so little. This shade is a medium auburn and requires at least 2 levels of lift from her natural colour which appears to be around a level 4 😊
@@ap6252004 her natural hair is dark so 10 volume is not enough to lift the color
Don't use 30 vol on the already open dyed hair.. it is going to make the hair dry and fade sooo quickly
The roots only need 20 vol because they are directly exposed to the heat from the scalp so the colour will penetrate more deeply so a lower strength developer on the roots will prevent hot roots. The lengths and ends need 30 vol because they are further away from the scalp therefore they don’t get a lot of heat so they need a stronger developer for the colour to penetrate.
What was the powder you used on the first video for dye your hair from black to this?
