    • @rupe53
      @rupe53 Год назад +2

      @@alans.7733 .... in many videos he does run his snake toward the street, then back-prod the trap. Not sure what his parameters are on using that sequence, versus letting things fly. Those traps were put in during a time when various fixtures didn't have their own trap, and stack vents up to the roof were not used. IOW, even if all your fixtures are up to modern code, you'd still need to extend the stack vent, which is often right out the side and just above the foundation on these homes.

    I suppose I can just be thankful that that plumbing in my home is very different. We have ABS drain pipes... and outside is a Jet Aerobic water treatment system. You NEVER flush wipes or put grease down the drain with those... Outside of a toilet trap needing plunged a few times a year, we've avoided serious blockages.

    yes I hit dislike because, where were the buckets, to catch the explosion, esp when the room needed no more watrer on the floor,, why did you not use your toilet hand device to drill out the U-trap, before you opened the upstream plug- it just beggers belief, sorry, that's just how I see it, otherwise,, I am sure the customer, was there hours cleaning it all up, do you help with the clean up ?

      No, the customer said there's water all over the floor already and all of the junk has to be thrown awayways, for me just to let it rip and not worry about it, her main concern was to get her toilet back in working order for he mother, and a professional company cleaning company was on there way, way before i got there. Thanks.

    Oh no…worst case scenario: all your stuff is on the floor compromised near a drainage source. All is lost… insurance claim submitted.
    What are the chances they’ll be running a load of clothes after this?😱🫣
