Miljenko Matijević (aka STEELHEART) is a world-class vocalist who has performed as lead singer for the DOORS and as the voice for the ‘fictional’ rock band STEEL DRAGON from the film ROCK STAR (starring Mark Wahlberg and Jennifer Aniston). With 30 years of hit songs and world-traversing tours under his belt, Matijević is releasing the single "ANGELE EYES" (I'll Never Let You Go" which he has re-written as a duet acoustic version of the original hit "I'll Never let You Go" (Angel Eyes) as part of the STEELHEART 30th Anniversary album. Singing with him on this new version is his beautiful daughter Steviann Matijevic.

I have always had the biggest crush on Miljenko. There was no one else like him in my eyes. I never got to see him in concert but living in a very small town it was impossible to get anywhere.❤ lol, I'm a couple of years older than him and still to this day feel the same. Always loved his music which spoke to my heart and soul. I am glad to hear he is doing well now and has reconnected with his family.

There are some songs that are like beacons, arent they? They are meant to stay and help you out in dark times, and give you happiness in good times...Now, 34 years later, had anyone had told me id still be here and with a beautiful family now showing them this song, i wouldnt have believed that..And yet it is. I interviewed you back when this song came out. I recall you telling me, you were driving in your car and "Angel Eyes" by Jeff Healey came on the radio. And you had to pull over to compose yourself. This song will always be "Angel Eyes' to me and has stood the test of time. I am so excited that the internet has allowed others hear your talent. Keep on keeping on.

When i was a male stripper from 2005 to 2007, in my private party sessions, I would perform a towel dance and I would use the original version of this song on my MP3 player, which would bring the house down. This song many times put food on the table to feed my daughter and myself. Thank you, Mili, for writing and composing such a masterpiece. Amazing unplugged version!! Grew up in CT in the 80’s and 90’s and have always felt Mili had one of the best vocals of any rock band of the era (easily top 3). I now live in LA (Mili, We’re practically neighbors!!)
