S9 Plus is miles better, but I'm in need of an upgrade, and I don't have enough money to afford such a tablet. By trading in my Galaxy Tab S6, I can get the Tab S9 FE+ for $300, which i think is worth it to me as I will use it primarily for art, note taking, and video streaming. I game sometimes, and from the tests I have seen, the performance is enough for me.
I highly suggest looking at the used market ! Nothing really compares to a flagship and the tab s8 from last year has many great deals rn. Maybe you can even try to sell your tab s6. Switching from an amoled display to an lcd might be a little hard for an artist(color accuracy and just the quality) and last year's flagship still has a powerful chipset(better for gaming). But if you want something brand new and don't mind the lcd and lesser performance, s9 fe+ is a great deal.

The best trade-in value is for the S9 FE's, so that's really my only option for my budget. I've gone to Best Buy and tried the tablets out, and the displays are very nice, so I don't think that'll be much of an issue. I don't game too heavily, so that's also not much of a concern either. I think the smoothness wow factor was way more noticeable going from 60hz to 90hz. (When I bought OnePlus 7pro). Seems very similar to 120hz to me personally.

Often I'm writing and having 2 different google tabs open on my tablet, and sometimes I use things like fusion 360 on it. Do I need the tab s9+ or can I go with the tab s9 fe+? I'm after a desk companion for full A4 OCR translation. what annoys me is the lag it takes for actions to be performed such as OCR or translation, or switching between apps. Would the response speed be different between the two tablets? or are they both so powerful beyond my use case that they would respond with the same (lack of) lag?
Besides I love the display of s9, my only use is to read magazines and make notes, so, I'm taking s9 FE+. Aditionally, at least here, s9 + is more than twice the price of s9 fe+
I actually use a Tab A8 at gigs, lol. I also use it for Karaoke at gigs. Its always been a bit laggy, but worse now. Tryi g to decide if i should just pull the trigger on the flagship s9 plus, or if the fe will suffice....
@@TeslaFanXRV The + FE is garbage, having used it with every other samsung tablets, I can say that it is extremely slow and has a terrible display. It's nothing compared to the higher end tab S9+. If someone wants a lower priced tablet then the S8+ is still far superior to the + FE model.

You certainly could get by with the FE, but keep in mind that the flagship is generally a bit more optimized (both hardware & software - wise) to be more futureproof. You can also consider the S8 PLUS from last year.
Great comparison. If I could offer you some criticism, stop saying the complete name of the devices. Just say S9 plus or S9 fe plus. We know what you're talking about. When you say the full name you tend to speed through it and it's hard to figure out what one you just said. Just giving some honest hopefully helpful feedback.

Just so you know, we (youtubers) tend to do that because it also plays into the ranking of the video; the algorithm still takes into consideration how often it's said, and improves indexing keywords related to this video, and presents it to people who may have used different variations of the name - in simple words: it helps the video with exposure :)

Used the fe for studying. Handles poorly. The 1380 chip is not good enough. Get the premium s9+

Your speech is often too fast making it hard to decipher key words.
