i got rid of my 3rd gen iPad Pro 11 inch today and just ordered the S9+. I'm very happy to be going back to an android tablet and especially happy about being able to throw a MicroSD Card in there to get more storage. TBH I hated that iPad, it was the only Apple device I've ever owned and will be the one and only Apple product i'll ever own. It's going to be really nice being able to just connect this tablet to my PC and transfer files instead of jumping through hoops like i did on that crappy iPad.

It honestly just depends on what you're using it for. My FE+ works amazingly for my current needs. If I did more drawing on it and did so on a professional level, the + may be better.
I feel like even if I am gonna jsut use it for general browsing and drawing. I should still get the s9+ cuz I generally keep them for 5+ years so it would perform better longer

It simply depends on how much money you are willing to spend and maybe on what other devices you use, as someone who carries samsung flagships thesedays most of the time I felt like I will never needed faster cpu or better screen on tablet, so I went with basic 8/256 tab s9 fe wifi and it does what I wanted it to, defionetly feels much slower than my phone but I knew that, I havent had slow mobile devices for years so it took couple days to get used to
Another great comparison. Although the FE+ gives a lot of bang for the buck for me it would be worth the extra money to get the S9+ for the better features and future proofing. And I love the dog.
I wish you had talked about the AI features. I bought the FE+ pretty much based on this video as I am not concerned with many of the video/game advantages the S9+ has. But just learned about the AI features, as in I can record a lecture and have the AI transcribe it AND summarize the lecture, which is a crucial plus as I plan on using it for college. Now I have to go return my FE+ and exchange it. Great video, still. But maybe include the AI perks when discussion the S9. Thanks.
I recently paid close to €700 for the S9 FE+ (not opened it yet, I consider returning it 😄), but at the same time, I did get the 12GB RAM / 256GB storage + 5G version. The same configuration for S9+ sells for about €1200. I wonder if it's worth the difference...
@@silvanigragot mine last week, fe+ 12gb ram, 256gb. However Argos had 20% off, so off £699, £140. I did also got the Samsung s7 watch, 20% off as well. I had a gift card as well for £130. So I essentially paid less than £400 for the tab. This will be my main tab for the next 5 years... No regrets as I could not justify £1200 on tab 10.

Thank you for the kind words. Ok, so second screen - is using your tablet as an additional display for your laptop or desktop. Works on both tablets. The eternal display support - is plugging a display into the usbc port on the tablet and using it as a dual display setup. Only S9+. Hope that helps. 🙏🏻

My tab 8 ultra has a cracked corner making the screen sometimes unresponsive! I am heartbroken as I love this tablet. But after 2 1/2 years of almost daily use, it might be time to look out for an upgrade.
The burn-in risk of the AMOLED in the S9+ (I've read that many have had this problem...) makes me lean toward the FE, although I prefer the Snapdragon, and of course I would prefer more full-bodied colors, but the Oled seems like a risky technology. The S9+ have best battery life, but my Note 10.1 2014 are on the street for dye only now, my fear is that the Oled screen go low in performance much more quickly then the LCD of the FE... I'd rather wait for the new generation of non-organic Oled.

Get the s9 or s9+. For student you might need the bigger horsepower to run multi tab browsing while reading big size ebook or running particular scientific app. Also more powerful ones are longer future useability. Also a pleasure to draw, draw hi res complex notes or play emulation games.

The s8 is more powerful and better in almost every single way, if you can find it for a good price I would not even think about it, the fe it's a great tablet if it's significantly cheaper than the flagships, if you can find the s8 or even the s7 for the same price they will be better, specially on android tablets that don't actually need security updates as much as phones, since you probably don't pay for stuff or use your bank app on your tablet, you can probably use the tablet for 5+ years if you want, even an s7.

But after watching this video I went back to Best Buy's site and checked the prices and found the S9+ is significantly more expensive as you noted. (It wasn't so obvious to me before because I was looking at a variety of tablets with widely differing specs such as memory, internal storage and screen size so I would expect a large price difference because of those features alone.) I set it to “off” in the settings, but after 20-30 minutes a black screen appears “click on the photo icon to continue.” It is impossible to broadcast longer than 20-30 minutes. The tablets in this video are quite expensive. Better get a Windows laptop instead and just use your phone to take pictures. A tablet is a luxury item, a laptop is a 100 times better for productivity.

S9 FE Tab has batter life (with WiFi of 18 hours) S9 with OLED has 10 hours due to the OLED.

To this day - the Tab S6 Lite (specifically) is one of the most underrated tablets.
I just sold my iPad air 5th gen to BackMarket for $369, then bought the Tab S9 FE plus for $500 on Amazon. So really I only paid $131. So worth it!
Actually you would get more money back then I did, you have a 256GB, I had the 64GB so you actually might owe nothing for the FE plus.

Great comparison. The fingerprint scanner and face unlock have not worked at all for me in my week of testing since purchasing the s9+. Do you or anyone have any tips or tricks to help me out in this regard? Thanks in advance.
Thank you for the kind words and feedback. I find that I need to press a bit more firmly on under display scanners - not super hard but more than a tap. With the face recognition - I just need to make sure there is adequate light. Let me know.

Bro.. just tell me what do you want? You want all the property papers of your viewers to drop the battery test videos about which you've been promising for more than 3 months.. I mean you can clearly see what's hindering your progress as a youtuber which is, to not have reliability. The two most common traits of most successful youtubers are reliability and consistency which not only brings new viewers but keeps the old ones stick to watching you and you've failed miserably in being truthful.

Thanks for your review. I saw the tablets on Best Buy's website but didn't know what the distinctions were between the S9+ and the FE+. I wouldn't have thought the differences were so dramatic. But after watching this video I went back to Best Buy's site and checked the prices and found the S9+ is significantly more expensive as you noted. (It wasn't so obvious to me before because I was looking at a variety of tablets with widely differing specs such as memory, internal storage and screen size so I would expect a large price difference because of those features alone.) Thanks to your review I will know what to look for if I decide to purchase one of these tablets.
Or you can get a use 8+ for cheaper then the FE.
Also a great option if that's available in your area.

I set it to “off” in the settings, but after 20-30 minutes a black screen appears “click on the photo icon to continue.” It is impossible to broadcast longer than 20-30 minutes. You have to reach for the camera and constantly press the button. Power from the outlet - yes, capture card - yes. So, i just got promoted to manager at the womens clothing store i have been at for 2 years. I have never owned a tablet or laptop. However, im thinking a tablet would be best since the job requires daily social media posts. i will need something to make schedules and take pictures and possibly keep tabs on my own to do lists while answering weekly corporate emails. I don’t do games, so video quality is not a big priority right now. What would you recommend? The original or the fe? Newbie here! Thanks!
The tablets in this video are quite expensive. Better get a Windows laptop instead and just use your phone to take pictures.
