His review is fair and not condescending to the FE. Many phone reviewers are worse especially when comparing flagship specs and processors that were amazing only a couple years ago to the latest and greatest.
I use the Galaxy Tabs and iPad Pros for making art and it's really sad now that the smallest models of the s10 and ipad pro had their cost bumped up to $1000 in 2024. I forgot if previous plus models always costed that much, but with no more 11 inch option, it's the same thing. I considered getting the FE+, but it's already a year old, which means one less year of android support and updates after purchase than what's promised. There's a dedicated artist android called the "magic drawing pad" that came out this year, but it's running Android 12 with no plans of upgrading, so I'm wary about that, too. Now that the mainline galaxy tabs have longer support spans, i wonder if that'll apply to the 10FEs too...
I got the S9 FE+ last week and it is outstanding. My reasoning for it is even though it has one less year of support, by the time it reaches end of support, I will likely upgrade anyway.
Personally I can't justify spending more than $500 MAX on a tablet and that's an exception and not a rule. Most times it's in the range of $250-$400 and that's not every year but maybe every 3 to 4 yrs. I believe this is the case for the majority of tablet users considering most of us (probably) use tablets primarily for semi-mobile entertainment platforms (My tablets never leave my house lol. I just use them primarily to streaming and retro gaming from room to room. They tend to be less cumbersome and more durable, especially in a case, than a laptop.).
100% I was in the market for a tablet few months ago ended up getting a brand new tab s7 plus for 1/3 the original price with a 3 year warranty couldn't be happier with my tablet
This Christmas season the s9fe is a ridiculous price of $299. Seems like a no brainer. This is a better budget price compared to the s10+. Do you believe the rumors of a s10 fe coming out soon?
The FE has no business calling itself an S series tablet, it's a completely different device. It's like putting a corvette body on a Volkswagen beetle and calling it a Corvette FE 😂😂😂
Ok ok i swear... Every single youtuber is calling everything that isnt flagship a budget i mean NOT EVERYTHING THATS NOT FLAGSHIP IS BUDGET
*more budget friendly

With my trade in, 10+ was cheaper. Trade in was higher value. Cost wise made it an easy decision.
Spen of S10 plus don't need a charge to write. It uses battery power for Bluetooth functions only (changing slide, hovering with Spen etc)
The s pen can hover too without charge 🎉

@@Evo9000 how brand new? Should be a refurbished one. Coz I did the same 2 days ago, 1/3rd the prize.
@sahilbankar99 normal price was $1850 aud when released in Australia for this model
I love both but I'm planning on getting the galaxy tab s9 fe for school and artists.
