lol, that's not how you ride it = ) You ride the "drifting board" sideways, not forward/back but left/right. Of course you knew that. The Segway with the stick is better than the old hoverboards because they are stable and safer because it turns by the stick not by twitching your feet, but you also knew that.

For the orange wheel skate you suppose to ride it side ways
For the Chinese ones you were standing on them wrong. Turn them 90°. Like a skateboard with a gap in the middle and the motor goes on the back foot
