Nowhere is there such a succinct account of such knowledge / to say that this is as if one stumbled upon a mine of priceless Gems is an understatement. Feel So blessed, ThankYou 😇
was on the right path all along these lectures validate that - just about everything significant others have said is in contrast to what is being said here
It is amazing, when you speak it is as if Maharaj is using you as a mouthpiece! Endless Gratitude for this Priceless knowledge. Your voice is perfect for relating this material 🙏
There are no words adequate to express how much I appreciate these audios of Sri Nisargadatta Maharaj. Spontaneously a man that resembled Maharaj in his late 40's gave me a title to look up on youtube about another topic but because he forgot to write "the" in the title he wanted me to search I stumbled upon the teaching of Maharaj. From day 1 of listening all concepts began to fad fast. My guru appeared and his words are final. I thank you with all the love possible.
Thats pretty wild! There are a few live film recordings1978/1979 with Audio of Maharajs Teaching on RUclips. "The Eternal Satsang" & " An afternoon with Nisargadatta Maharaj"
A beautiful thing I heard in a discourse between Krishnamurti and some fellows. The word "Alone" came up and it was mentioned that the etymological source of that word is two words "All One" unfragmented, whole, unified. ❤ Love you Clay thanks for your work, sending you positive vibes from the hills of Puerto Rico 💛
'I am my body' is ego; 6:37, the ignorance called sleep supports everything; 12:18, change your understanding, not your actions; 18:37, in reality, the individual has no form; 28:58, there is no peace till pride disappears; 35:40, there is no experiencer of sin and merit; 41:45, you are Paramatman, neither bound nor free; 47:05, there is nothing here except illusion;
I'm guessing we've going to hear a lot more about the food body. And our true nature, of course. These are great recordings. I listen to them while working on art.
Hello self 😊. Congratulations on finding the only guru worth listening to. The book by Sri siddharmaweshmar is even more direct. Two pages is enough to remind you if you have the correct understanding.
I find myself currently wondering what is the deal with "me?" At the beginning of my day, from the awakening of the body and mind I am carried away by a hundred different false narratives which make up my, "normal" moving and functioning in this world and then it seems only near to the end of the day and the preparations for rest comes this openness within myself to words such as these here and many other True things, concepts and when I feel I can truly be introspective and discerning within myself. I hope that my fervor to find Truth and to be Free is strong enough I want the fire to burn so much more than it seems to be. I feel like two different people. I trust in Grace but I know I need some guidance from somewhere too.
You could do some of Christian mysticism starting with Meister Eckhart and the Drak Night of the Soul by St. Jhon of the cross all the way up to the Church fathers like Thomas Aquinas.
Mantra means reciting few words in systematic order which are in sanskrit... mantras could recited to various gods be for various reasons or even just like that

"I" do not exist. Whatever has a sense of itself is illusory. Dreamless sleep he calls ignorance (6:40 and 7:10). But, how is this different from what he calls freedom, since both have no sense of itself but are awareness itself? What makes it higher than the self-reflective self which can at least think? How is not being able to think, or know you are there at all, superior to the state of a man? Perhaps we are the highest already, and suffering is the price for the ability to think? How does the state of ignorance (dreamless sleep) differ from that of Parabrahman, which also does not know it's there? As soon as it knows itself it is an "I" and in illusion. Is there a way of knowing itself without becoming an "I"? Even without a body, as soon as awareness becomes aware of itself as such, it is not the same as it had been up to the point; looking at it changes it, like that quantum physics problem. If the thoughtless state was so excellent, then why would it have led to the thinking state in the first place? Why would we want to go back to the former state? Isn't it like going back to sleep when we awaken in the morning in our bed? Is there nothing lost when we "achieve" the state referred to in this book? Like erasing the chalkboard and having a fresh, but empty surface? How is that richer? Don't we really want both? To be and be known? Existence aware of itself is Brahman; existence unaware of itself is ParaBrahman (8:09). But, dreamless sleep is ignorance, he said earlier, which is the same as ParaBrahman, as defined as existence unaware of itself, hence is a contradiction. At 8:23 he calls both sleep as well as waking state ignorance: both dreamless sleep and waking state. There must be the third, but how is PB, unaware of itself, different than dreamless sleep, also unaware? If it's unaware then it really doesn't have much going for it: unaware is unaware. There can't be any difference. Hence, I must reject his argument. How can the state after death be anything other than ignorance? Awareness without a sense of self is what infants are, and they are not higher than adults. This sounds like worship of ignorance. The emperor has no clothes. I wouldn't wait for the moment of death to find out the truth; you had best accomplish that now because at that moment, you could be wrong and you will have been better off if you had not waited for the final moment to reach the truth. It's the height of stupidity to think you will do something then that you didn't do your whole stupid life. If you are not the body, know it right now or forever hold your peace. You are not going to figure it out then. Why does he say, at 11" that you are really the Brahman, if we are really the ParaBrahman, which is different? And I thought the sense of "I" was illusion, so why would he say to have faith in that sense of I as Brahman, when there is no I? Contradiction.
If you enjoy the carrot and stick life then you are happy to live in the mind and swing between pleasure and pain as daily circumstances dictate. If you see this as folly then you may find his message relevant. You may then want to reclaim your natural state of bliss without knowledge acquired by ego casting a veil. This seems to be the essence of self realisation. Best wishes
The reason why 'God' never appears is simply cause you are here already. *edit BTW: The world is flat when you look at it. when you think about it... t is a cartoon ball called 'earth'. The name is not the world.
Thank you so much for taking the time to make these audio recordings of the great Masters !! Really appreciated

You are making a lot of assumptions like being a thinker. Examine your experience closely and you will find the answers.
