- With fallout 4's main story somewhat resembling Cooper Howard's arc with his child being (presumably) stolen by a subterranean organization and fallout 4 having the very weapons he uses in game, I wondered whether it would be possible to beat the game as a post-apocalyptic cowboy.
what you realized you couldn’t get ballistic weave on the driver outfit you should’ve said “you know what they say about us cowpokes, we take it as it comes”
After completing PAM’s quest, you have to talk to Tinker Tom who will unlock it fully. I had to look it up to figure it out😅
It would have made more sense for you to have dog meat with you lone survivor perk works with him as well
Picking lone wanderer would have definitely helped, though when playing alone I always pick a follower, so I forgot about it’s existence. But I don’t mind, it just made the challenge more challenging! :D (same goes for taking companions in these videos)

There's a MOD for all 3 main characters in fallout tv show to have their face. They're all pretty good

just a note in the future if you ever do this run again there is a revolver shotgun mod you can use to actually get the ghouls main gun to use
the MTS - 255 revolver shotgun

Should have gotten the hunter’s longcoat off old man Longfellow in Far Harbor. It even has additional 40dmg resistance naturally.

now I want to see you beat Fallout 4 as maximus from the BOS or Lucy the vault 33 dweller from the TV show, these character runs/playthoughs are fun to watch
I'm amazed that you didn't add Cannibal as one of the perks much sooner, namely in the beginning, seeing that ghouls are cannibalistic and you could gain health by eating other ghouls. Plus you could have Dogmeat as a companion and still have the Lone Wanderer perk as it doesn't affect him.
One nit pick, I understand choosing the special due to game play reasons… however The Ghoul has official S.P.E.C.I.A.L. Stats, so wouldn’t it have been more true to form to follow that?
True, though I wanted to use the intimidate perk, because it seemed fitting; problem is that it requires charisma 10, which drains my perk points. Same goes for the ghoulish perk with endurance 9. So I did think about it, but it was not feasible with what I wanted to do.
@@Ben_Boos You can choose to up your SPECIAL in this game, at any given level. It DOES NOT actually drain your perk points unless you only plan to play to a specific level. (There's also an argument you could make that before/even potentially after becoming the Ghoul, Cooper had enough Charisma as an actor and the literal face of the vaults as Vault Boy to stand at a base of 12 - and make purchasing things that much less painful) It might take longer to get your SPECIAL up to Charisma 10, but it's worth doing. [Especially if you tank your cha with beer first and then take the special book in Nate's home to make it a flat 11 - and get either all the barter books, or the bobblehead] * There's a trilby hat that's probably as close as you're going to get to Cowboy in this game... and that'd also give you enough Charisma to pass any check if your base is 10.

Vertibirds have the same ai as the dragons from skyrim and when they die they fly toward the player (for some reason)

Technically, the grenade launcher from the next gen update would count, since the ghoul himself commissioned its creation.
There are mods that fix the lever-action reload animation, but they always seem to break for me.

You probably could have used t45 power armour at a most since canonically he served with people kn t45, and i think he wore some himself as a result

Because he did anything to get his child, so I figured when it turned out his child was the leader he wouldn’t blow it + him up.
Maybe i'm stupid, but i think he uses some kind sawed off shotgun and not a pistol.
Also you can actually play as The Ghoul, with the vaultgirl preset and the play as a ghoul mods.
It is a mock-up revolver based on a revolving shotgun rifle. His is more akin in function to a .600 Nitro revolver used for hunting bears.

😂😂😂 FUN... certainly, I would have liked to have seen you with more rads (using Ghoul more), higher perception and agility than endurance, and more drugs early, but so fun, I didn't care.

why not use a mod to make yourself a ghoul and use the new cc weapon
The new update made a lot of mods unstable, so I kept it vanilla.

True, but companions get in the way a lot, so unless absolutely needed, I try to avoid taking them.
