Thanks! I used a pencil brush for this tutorial, its the Natural Pencil 4B which comes stock in the Brushes panel for Pixel Persona. I used that for the initial sketch as well as the final drawing before vector. In the next video on inking, I use the Pen tool in the Design Persona. It doesn't seem like you can. You'll have to just switch using the icon at the top left. You maybe be able to set a keyboard shortcut for it. Thanks for watching!
@@njvalenteart much appreciated definitely subbing, I think you're the only one making illustration videos with Affinity Designer 2, if you could whether it be a course or something we need a 1hr -3hr lesson from beginner to master for drawing on Designer 2

@@njvalenteart im watching it my issue is you didn't share how you got that ruler around the images because when I place my image it's in the dark unseen aspect of it. Gonna Finish the video as best as I can but when making tutorials every step counts my friend thanks
@@holdthetruthhostage I thought it was set by default I have had it on so long. Under view, click on show rulers. You'll be all set. Thanks for commenting!

hi when im placing the reference image beside the workarea its just black ? please help
Go to View, View Mode and uncheck Clip to Canvas. I believe this only works in the newer versions of Affinity Designer. I hope that helps!
