Fantastic Geep. Hideous paint scheme! Not sure who put those colors together but it ain’t pretty. I’ve had the privilege of riding that amazing railroad a couple of times when visiting San Antonio. Beautiful park and a huge layout. Please put a more realistic, and less garish, paint scheme on it. Maybe an SP or Santa Fe scheme. Either way, keep up the good work. You have an amazing railroad there!
If you think this zoo has a lot of incompetence, look at the Forest Park Miniature Railroad. Only opened late last year and it's now down again because of maintenance issues. And while the CPH units were fun, engineers will most likely enjoy the enclosed cab now. Thankfully my zoo is still operating CPH units; there have been talks of switching to electric but I don't like those as much due to the fact that they are not equipped with real whistles/horns.
If you actually watch the video instead of just commenting on the thumbnail, you might actually see and hear those big shiny chrome things on the cab roof.
Everyone saying its ugly paint job but it has to be high visibility for good reasons. Someone trys to sue after being a dumbarse and getting hit by it the insurance companies will say "seriously you didn't hear the bells, whistles, engine, and didn't see the psychedelic collors"
This is great! I love the paint job on that locomotive. It looks like a regular SD-40-2 or something or a GP-38.
It's like the people are freight now.

Cool Little Train 👍👍👍👍👍🚂
Awesome little machine, I would love to retrofit an a/c unit on that thing!! If I had my own..
I agree with you! I would too for the summer months! Also a heater for the winter months if possible.

Breckenridge Eagle, that is the previous title. My children and I have gone for rides on this wonderful train. 😅
Wow… I would love to cruise around in a mini EMD GP40-2
Actually that locomotive is a GP38-2. It has only 2 radiator fans. A GP40-2 has 3.
Change one of those bells. Shouldn't be going 'BRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRING!' like a fire alarm!
That's the crossing bell duffas
Better that that abomination of a steam outline locomotive….
Jeez that is HIDEOUS! At least it looks like a locomotive, though, unlike that ... thing ... that's now running in Zilker Park in Austin again.
Now they need a horse jokey engineer
No horn!!!???
There's a pair of loud horns at the top of the locomotive.
If you watched latter in the video you would hear it

Unfortunately they will still try for the sake of suing
No interior shots??? No operator check-ride??? Go back and get it right this time!!!!!
Bring back the traditional steam design locomotive, please. Don't like this new Goofy one.😮
This is so wrong
