Why Running Shouldn't Work In Brawlhalla

- Hey all! here's a video that hopefully inspires you in your Brawl journey.
I had to take a break for school and in general I was worried about making a boring video that no one would watch. It took some time but I got over that fear (sort of. you can't entirely stop worrying about failure).
Anyways if you have any opinions leave them in the comments I read every single one

This is one of the reasons I don't play this game competitively anymore. It seems like the most common playstyles are just obnoxious and annoying to me personally. I disconnect from a good 2/5 matches because I just genuinely don't feel like learning playstyles that I don't enjoy playing against. The amount of people who just back up, wallhug, throw their weapon to break neutral literally every single time. It's just obnoxious at this point, and completely detracts from the fun of the game. I'm sad to see them not really actively doing anything about how terrible the game has become for the average player.
They did, they made wall hugging very hard and needed weapon throws. Weapons disappears more faster and wall hugging is harder because you lose jumps faster.
@@datonekidd1247 yeah but you can still just as easily abuse weapon throws. You can also still be annoying with wall hugging. There's really no way to fix weapon throws unless they add a delay to picking it up.
You have good videos, Underrated!
Thanks man
Congrats on 1K , keep it up
man I love yr content so fucking much I've been binging it for hours I'm glad the algorithm made yr most recent video pop off I hope most of the new viewers stick around you definitely deserve alot more attention
No! Your gonna see my old videos lol some of them I can’t sit through. I did a lot of experimenting with the style before trying to be more myself. Thank you for watching though! And I appreciate it
The clip of Marss chucking the penguin lmao
Never forget.
Reduce map size and reduce instant drift away from hit and missed attacks, also reducing the distance of a dash back could help but could be more of a negative change than a good one.
I'm also in plat and the only way around an Enemy that has 3x your playtime from learning EVERY COMBO IN THE GAME is to play passively. Making real situational awareness more helpful to win than watching combo videos for hours and I think it is right that way.
Learn options get comfy don't tilt
I don't know what Brawlhalla devs were smoking when they determined the match time should be 8 minutes
Its quite long most likely using smash as a reference
Fr the only actual underrated RUclipsr
I am stuck in gold because of passive players like I try to kill them but they keep running 🏃♀️
With passive players the key is movement. Movement can almost be used to force out options or push them to move to one edge of the map where you trap them.
The games dead
Really good channel. Subbed! Idk what your rank rn is but basically if you wanna get good just wait. People miss understand Agressive/Mashing... There is no reason to approach someone that always attacks braindeadly, so just punish him. And after you become good you can actually start to be what agressive really is, and put pressure on a bunch of options at the same time
Also people miss understand Passive/Running (technichally they are both the same), everyone when losing starts to slow down to game, and think of way out of the situation. But running away is straight up, hanging the wall, jumping nonstop and mixing the landing, not approaching until the opponent becomes unpatient and runs after the passive person.
Look being agressive is better, but you need to know what agressive. really is. A passive person depends 100% on the opponents mistakes, an agressive one can make his oppenings and win the game. But the problem is that hard stuck plats/low/mid diamonds think they are "cool" just because they are agressive while in reality they are mashers that have no logical idea of what is going on the match. And they create a rule for themselves to never be passive, and basically they never improve. If you slow down and think whats going on, next time you will be able to play agressive on that person BECAUSE YOU WILL KNOW WHAT YOU WERE GETTING PUNISHED FOR 🤯🤯. Play passive and smart first, and learn how to play agressive with the knowledge that u gained
This is awesome, I like how you would have a phrase or introduce the topic then back it up. Thank you for this ^^

@@learnyoutube3865 you always rely on opponent's mistakes, also when you're aggressive, what do you mean
For people who hate passive the best way to beat it is apply pressure with movement they will try to back up to edge of stage and then they have a lot less options and if you can react to the option they pick you can get damage easily for example if they jump you can jump nair on lance and get a sair or dair depending on where they dodge As for wall huggers sadly you'll just have to wait for them to come on stage instead of getting gimped basically just play parry or look for punishes and times where you can hit them where you know you can't miss (sorry I'm bad at typing stuff
No worries you made it through and explained everything. It is a huge block of text but I enjoyed reading what you had to say! Ill try this in my ranked games
It isnt always that simple tho, it could be someone who is really good at maneuvering and you just need to be really patient, because they like to parry and wait for the other player to engage, I'm in plat but I play a lot of experimental, and a lot of diamonds and other plats for some reason never engage and always stay at the edge of the map spamming sigs, but the diamonds that do play aggressive, while I lose most of them, I still have fun cuz of how fast paced the matches are
Cringe
Nice Video
Funny thing about Cosolix. You can't be a pro if you are a lance/axe player, that's fact.
Factual statement
6:10 I enjoyed watching it
I honestly don’t know what I was supposed to get out of this video
You know I think that too but it took a lot of videos until i was finally able to stay on track its a learning process I hope you enjoy the newer ones more
They should probably add “consecutive hits progressively deals higher damage”
That is a dog shit idea 😂
That would bridge the gap between string and heavy weapons too
Thank god you’re not a developer
Everybody hates the passive play but i like it makes the game more technical and it allows the smarter player to win
You shouldn't have all the time in the world to take a decision, you have to be smart AND fast. Look at Luna, he plays incredibly aggressive but he never does an error, forcing players that can't think fast into doing an error, but this require a way higher amount of skill that playing passive, that's why he lost to Snowy last winter, and the only other players I've seen able to do it are Godly and Sandstorm when he was at his peak (and in a certain way also megd). That's the true skill and should be rewarded more than just running away.
""""""""smarter""""""" player
Wouldn't the smarter and more technical player be able to make decisions on the fly rather than waiting for other people to approach?
