Up until now, I've never seen one of Vondakay's videos, and I really regret not watching his videos sooner. I really like these informational videos, especially ones talking about Brawlhalla's "history", gives me a new perspective I never knew about. I never knew how the public and pros alike perceived Maid as a player who was seen as the guy who was carried by Experience, due to, at times, his lack of damage. And how his playstyle, despite not seeming too impressive, contributed a lot. It's really interesting stuff. Love the length of the video as well, it's not too short that leaves me feeling shortchanged. Keep up the great content!

Maids style of play I feel like is so over looked for the incredible performances him and exp put on. I still don't think he gets the recognition he deserves.
@@Vondakay Nah man, there's nothing cringe about your videos. I really don't see any Brawlhalla videos going in depth about each pro's playstyle and what makes them so great.
For example, I never really knew what made Luna such a great player, or what made him who he is today. Then I watched one of your videos, "The Old Vs The New Pros" where you go in depth talking about his playstyle and his mindset. How his Money Matches influenced him to be a more aggressive player, and how he has an incredibly strong mental.
There's nobody, from what I've seen, doing full in depth analysis of top players, and it's really sad because those are some of the most interesting videos. Don't let yourself go underappreciated, you deserve all the praise from the Brawlhalla community.

Amazing video Vondakay! I thought you were gone for good, but you come back with a banger. You're quite good at shedding light on players and their stories. From a distance, every pro player just seems like somebody who is good at Brawlhalla, and sometimes you forget these players are people with different motives. These player focused videos are really interesting, and I hope to see more.
Nope not gone just lost for a little bit I hope to get bigger and therefore shine more light on to these incredibly talented players but I need to get better at making youtube videos in order to do that! so heres to more!

In theory it would be great but there is so little good footage of those players and I am terribly informed on all of them so it would be kinda a nightmare
Really great video vondakay, I always really enjoy the stories of these pros.
So basically Maid is a player who’s known to team with Experience, and is more or less his “maid” (as a support player) who can go from getting pretty much carried by Experience to being an absolute menace in 1 game
I can also see by your discord and the clips in the video your going through some Kung Fu Panda phase

@@ZachAsterisk Experience has always been the star of the show for those guys. I was a bit surprised to see him get Second but, not too much because if he puts some time into 1v1s he always does really well and has been able to for 2 years or so now.

i think fans start rooting for pro players to win after they already have shown multiple times they can win, same thing happened with luna, many people just discarded him in the start, but after winning major tournaments and defeating household names like sandstorm, boomie godly even they started rooting for him, i think if maid and experience win more tournaments they will get more support
Yeah luna was disrespected like crazy at the start and for no reason other than playing into the meta and being somewhat of a godslayer. They will continue to build up support. Seeing those predictions just hurt because people LEGIT think Dawg Cxti would have beat exp and maid on a hot streak. To be fair they did just beat seed 1.

People like flashy stuff and since exp uses cannons which forces him to do flashy stuff maid is auto relegated as support... people have set false archetypes in their minds that brawl has support players which on the surface seems true but isnt
The false archetype is very true while he is seen breaking up combos more often and taking a step back doesn't necessarily rule him out as a support. There are many games where Maid steps up and drops nukes
