Iam going back to movie world in October this year I'd love as many updates as you can I haven't been since 2009 I'd love to know all the ride list since I know there not always all listed on the site
The "shaded covering" on that walkway will be because they are about to start going vertical. Cannot have guests walking through an area where there will be work above them and no protection.
WHS in Australia, the principal contractor is responsible for securing the work site and having appropriate safety signage and contact information as well as having a WHS management plan in place. This means the billabong restaurant is now a construction site, completely separate to the existing site for the jungle rush coaster and murrissippi motors. So you're spot on, the billabong restaurant should be having a lot of work done to it soon.
So has the big red car ride been demolished? I visited the park yesterday hoping to get a good look at it cause I watched that defunctland documentary about it and was interested haha. Asked some staff and walked about 15 mins but could not find it anywhere 😢

Yup, Big Red Car has been demolished - the site where Jungle Rush is being constructed right now is where the show building for it used to be.
2:25 it’s missing a cloud covering the hinge thingie
Correct!
I'd like to have vintage cars reopen. I hope the cars are sold and not scraped after. they have really rare parts
True. I’d defs buy one if it was cheap enough
@@harryfunk5156 yeah. and they are built out of Ford model T's which a hard to find these days. I'd like one just cause they look cool though
For sure, I hope they get preserved / reused somehow. I believe one sadly got crushed by a tree during the storm

If construction goes well it should be this December :)
