Stopped watching WWE for a little bit until Roman Regina turned heel even tho I think they should’ve turned him when he beat the undertaker a Wrestlemania and he got a lot of heat but it was still a great heel turn. Great Content
I was thinking about when Roman should have turned, I think WWE messed up big time. They should have turned him when back in the Shield, it should have been him instead of Seth. Imagine Roman, Randy, Triple H, would have been a great faction. The Authority with the Big Dog would have been great.
just subscribed bro, your vid on Roman Reigns his title reign and the vid why Rollins wont be THE guy are amazing and im very hyped to start watching your other vids the next few days
Cody doesn’t need to “face adversity and struggle in WWE” because his whole adversity and redemption story was everything he did in the years since he left WWE to build himself up. He already proved over the past 6 or so years that he went from undesirable to undeniable, he doesn’t need to do it again in WWE just for the sake of it
Cry now fanboy, even Roman reigns said in the press conference this story is gonna be good but there’s a lot more to tell and u need more than a tik tok attention span, just cuz Cody is a popular baby face doesn’t mean he should end the bloodline story and reign.
@@PrinceAliTheGreatestFalse. Cody's time, development and impact in those organizations are the very reason why he is slotted as highly as he has upon returning to WWE. And I know that you know this, so don't be disingenuous just for the sake of it.
@@AquarianAngel No it’s not. If you’re starting a new life, are you or are you not to disregard everything g that happens elsewhere? It doesn’t matter because you can’t be based purely off what you did in other promotions. That would be unfair as all hell.
Here in 2024. I hate to admit it, but Cody losing to Roman was more beneficial to him than I was willing to admit at the time. I still don't like it, but it hasn't hurt him at all.
I think your points would stand if the fans didn’t resonate with Cody…but they all did. As somebody who stopped watching WWE about a decade ago i haven’t seen anybody this over since Daniel Bryan in the Yes movement. Cody’s story is being a second generation superstar that was supposed to be the next big thing but failed and was given a shit gimmick and booked to look like a joke and eventually left the company to be taken seriously. He then helps a genuine competitor but leaves it to come back home to WWE. He wrestles a few matches that are awesome, tears his pec off the bone before the match against Rollins even starts and puts on a classic. When’s the last time we’ve seen a guy go through that level of physical pain for their love of the game? He completely resonated 100% He’s out for months, and he comes back at the Rumble and wins the thing. And now the guy who’s intro starts with “wrestling has more than one royal family” is going toe to toe with the head of the table of the greatest wrestling royal family. The Tribal chief who owns the championship nobody in his family has ever owned. The American Nightmare chasing the hopes of the American Dream. And his push even navigates what could’ve been a disaster with the Sami thing, both of them were as over as anything I’ve seen when I used to watch wrestling and they both got satisfying payoffs. Except Cody’s didn’t get his, he lost after a perfect build, perfect match, perfect moment. Yes he’ll still be over but it won’t be magic. This isn’t Daniel Bryan losing to Randy, this is Daniel Bryan losing at WrestleMania in the trip threat. As *WHITE HOT* as DB was if he loses that match the momentum is gone. As hot as Batista was in 04 if he loses to HHH you don’t get *THAT* back. Hogan at WrestleMania 3 you don’t get *THAT* back. This was a moment on these level to me. No it didn’t have the long personal buildup but his story was a decade long. And plus, Roman now HAS to lose at Summerslam. They’ve already risked his run getting stale, you can’t run the reign until next Mania. Everybody’s gonna know the outcome, everybody’s gonna have seen a better match. It was the wrong move
I can see your point but I really wanted Cody to win but like you said lets see if he keep the momentum with this feud with Lesnar...overall great video though.
Naa it was absolutely pathetic unless they can make another match so great where Cody can endure that long a match and have a crowd as invested. Roman should be dropped the belt 500 days ago. This was the perfect place to do it then they had to write in the bs of extras smacking the underdog. We haven't seen that a1000 times
I think Cody can win later his story towards the Wwe title is better if he struggles first to get there and not pushed too fast even if fans mostly are behind him, i think its interesting how he is going to survive against Brock, i would make him challenge Roman again at one point (after 1000 day mark) but only for the Wwe belt cause the draft is happening they propably make one title appear on SD and one in Raw, and then the best opponent to win Universal belt storyline wise is Jey Uso

I get that alot of folks love Cody, but I'll never find him believable as a true babyface. Between his shameless ripoff of Homelander, the neck tat, and the Sledgehammer on the throne in AEW. Its like he's begging to be liked instead of letting it happen naturally. WTF was that Royal Rumble win?
PURE HEEL!!! Imagine supporting a "Nightnare"... Oh he's the "American Nightmare" alright - son of a self made famous person so leaning on their name (like Ozzy Osborne's kids) If he could do ANYTHING other than cosplay his dad (promos and feuds), he'd stand a chance
