I agree man I don't like metal in general but when I discovered this band a year ago I fell in love with them. I am a rock listener but this band is pure talent.
There's many who couldn't handle the power. If this was suddenly mainstream, many heads would explode. You gotta work them up slowly so their brains can handle it. But yes I agree, their jams are righteous and deserve much more attention and acknowledgement.

Yes, Powerwolf continue to pick some hot irons and turn them into satirical church critics. Nicely done again. Though with their phenomenal compositions and often hillarious as well as driving lyrics it's often difficult to really appreciate the sternness of the original topics while headbanging hard 🤘😁🤘.

Some says the carcass of the beast was buried in the gardens of Versailles. There is a very interesting french movie about that beast, it is called: “Le Pacte des Loups”. The english version is called: “Brotherhood of the Wolf”. Their take on the existence of that beast seems like a plausible explanation, but really, it could be anything. My father told me about that Gévaudan story when I was around 7 years old, a few nights before Halloween, we just finished carving our pumpkin and we were sitting in the dark, watching the light coming from the candle inside the pumpkin, while eating popcorns and potato chips. I remember clearly that one moment, it woke something inside me, I was scared to death but I was so intrigued by this, I started being obsessed by all things related to werewolves, vampires, ghost, ghouls, zombies, and the whole array of dark fantasy monsters. I still am today. I loved movies such as Sleepy Hollow.

@spudmonster100 C'est techniquement du folklore. La bête du Gévaudan est un mythe lancé par des hommes incultes au Moyen-âge dont les troupeaux se faisaient manger et qui avaient besoin d'un coupable. Une légende super classe, mais une légende
@@lobot8489 La bête du Gévaudan ne s'attaquait pas à des troupeaux mais aux hommes, elle a fait plus d'une centaine de morts durant le milieu du XVIIIème, soit vers la fin de l'époque moderne pas du moyen âge. La "bête" en tant que telle n'a jamais été formellement identifiée et les théories à son sujet se contredisent entre elles.

But I wasn't saying the word "legend" in a meaning of illusion or myth but in a meaning of the fact that an incredibly tall beast wandered around where you are walking and even if it was around the Middle Age, you feel a sort of unsettling sentiment. You know? To walk with legend. And there, where I live, the Beast of Gévaudan is still keeping a part of mystery.

I agree man I don't like metal in general but when I discovered this band a year ago I fell in love with them. I am a rock listener but this band is pure talent.
There's many who couldn't handle the power. If this was suddenly mainstream, many heads would explode. You gotta work them up slowly so their brains can handle it. But yes I agree, their jams are righteous and deserve much more attention and acknowledgement.

Never been disappointed in Powerwolf, already a masterpiece
The beast of Gevaudan and The Werewolf of Morbach are two of the coolest Werewolf stories I have recently read.
There is a place in Morbach near the Air Force Base where a candle burns as a memorial for the werewolf killed there; and if the flame ever goes out the beast will return.
Thank you for this. On the sad day of the announcement of Kentaro Miura's passing, this song helped brighten it.

Imagine being a random teenage shepherd girl in France who got killed by an oversized wolf so violently that her head got ripped straight off. Then 250 years later some crazy dudes start singing songs about how that wolf was divine wrath made flesh because she were branded an enemy of god. Brutal, and metal as fuck.
Yes, Powerwolf continue to pick some hot irons and turn them into satirical church critics. Nicely done again. Though with their phenomenal compositions and often hillarious as well as driving lyrics it's often difficult to really appreciate the sternness of the original topics while headbanging hard 🤘😁🤘.

Fun fact, they speculate that the beast of gevaudan was actually just a striped hyena. Someone wealthy probably had one as an imported pet that escaped. Some pretty great stories surrounding it, some nice podcast etc on the subject. Fun listen and to speculate. This song is a banger! so well done

Some says the carcass of the beast was buried in the gardens of Versailles.
There is a very interesting french movie about that beast, it is called: “Le Pacte des Loups”. The english version is called: “Brotherhood of the Wolf”. Their take on the existence of that beast seems like a plausible explanation, but really, it could be anything. My father told me about that Gévaudan story when I was around 7 years old, a few nights before Halloween, we just finished carving our pumpkin and we were sitting in the dark, watching the light coming from the candle inside the pumpkin, while eating popcorns and potato chips. I remember clearly that one moment, it woke something inside me, I was scared to death but I was so intrigued by this, I started being obsessed by all things related to werewolves, vampires, ghost, ghouls, zombies, and the whole array of dark fantasy monsters. I still am today. I loved movies such as Sleepy Hollow.
