an unrated level has no standards, whilst a rated one has. Here, "Cool Level" refers to a level exceeding the expectations one might have for an unrated level, "Bad Level" on the other hand refers to the level being rated and not looking as good in comparison to other rated levels.

ok, i see the progression you made but how is 6:38 looking so good. like seriously, with a few colour changes it could be feature/epic. the depth is amazing, the designs incredible, like how. i legit didnt think you were the same creator then lol. (make it into a full length-level and get a free feature, even if it needs a bit of contrast in the colours)

Ive been creating in gd for 6 years (still no rate) and i wanna suggest some things to implement in your levels 1. More variation in structures Copy pasting deco many times has a high chance to make the player annoyed of watching the same things all the time 2. Add more background/foreground effects Ive noticed that many backgrounds lack some effects like pulsing or some more movements that could make the level feel more energetic (so the player doesnt get bored) 3. Better indicators Its not really necessary but maybe make some indicators like the ones in the last ufo in Neon World Knock more visible because they blend in with the glow around them and make it hard for the player to see them Hope you continue your creating career and expand your creating skills!
Cool video, its insane to see hiw much you have progressed at creating in the past few months! Congrats on the star rates, your levels look really cool, but if you want to go for a feature you might need a bit more polishing and thats all! :D

I use rainbow style and I also thought that this would be my final progress (P.S. The level in question is Chaoz Rainbow), but you taught ne that I can improve on creating more than I would expect.
I could see why this level was rateworthy the shading on blocks the movements, making it not static and the background looks cool too my one thing I don’t like about this is that the clouds here? 8:56 that you go through looks so cool, but I don’t think that the shading in them look good. They kind of just look like clumped up. I’d recommend instead of adding more clouds that have lower brightness. I think you should select some of the clouds that are already there and the brightness of them I would be making really low brightness so that you can barely see the details on it but they look like silhouettes because the sun is in the back, but overall, I really like this level. It looks cool.👍

As a GD player who started in early 2.2, I’d really say this is something amazing. Just like you, I’m also getting a huge step up into building. Not too long ago I learned how to use shaders and now, I’m attempting to redecorate the level “Thermodynamix 17” by PokerMoker. Still, you have amazing improvement in just a couple of months or so.

I make gp for one part, then deco and do that until the level is done
