I just received my He-Man sword pendant in the mail. It’s gorgeous. My husband loves it so much! Thanks for getting it here so quickly!

I love this , HE-MAN was my favorite toy and cartoon as a child , you should of kept the handle of the sword , but it still turned out as a perfect and AMAZING cast .

great video mate ! nice simple and informative.
coming from larger scale sculpture, i experimented a lot with delft clay and i am myself getting little by little in jewelry making through wax carving. your videos just sum up the whole panel of techniques really clearly !
Just a little hint : Though it's really faster, I feel that you shouldn't use an emeri wheel to sand every type of form down, because it tends to get the surface "wavy" when it should be straight, for example on the edges of the blade. Instead, a manual file will allow you to go straighter and on a larger distance, getting you a nice strechted out surface.

Thanks for the comment! I'd like to do some large scale sculptures myself some day. I might not have shown it in the video, but after using an emery wheel I'll go over flat surfaces with an emery stick to try and even out that wavy surface finish.

what did you use for the gold plating?

I use a makeshift pen plating setup for gold plating. It's basically a rectifier attached to a felt pen tip with stainless steel wire woven through it as the anode. The felt tip is soaked in Clean Earth 14kt pen plating solution.
