I dont know if you had this issue but when I placed like 20 class selectors they would only work in my edit session but not when I publisht my map. Maybe ir Has something to do with memmory
Oh I read your comment wrong, I thought you said designers not selectors, in that case. It might just be an issue with if they are enabled on all phases or being enabled at all. Also could be due to the option throttle class changes which might be preventing you from swapping in some way. OR it could be activating team with a wrong index or something like that.

But i saw this jjk game in Fortnite that has a strange but interesting thing going for it that I actually wanna learn but unable to understand it. Its like they have classes like yujii, megumi, todo etc etc, and iam glad to see you explained classes here by coincidence, tho if i may ask, can you try breaking down the skill or ultimate skill there? I noticed is that when i attack, theres this counter on the side that when i full it, a nother button pops up in the equipment slot, and this is where i wanna learn, it has a cinematic for its ultimate, like the ui, the camera, and the player changes and plays an animation of the player using its skill. I thought you may like to hear something interesting like that!
For the counter it might be a mix of Verse or it's just a tracker device that is tracking damage or kills maybe? Then maybe that button is a Verse button that appears on the UI or a hud message with a custom hud widget that shows a little image of the skill or move that can activated by pressing a button using the input trigger. Not sure how the animations would work for the player character as you can't animate the player at all right now. They might have jailbroke the mythics from that one collab in Battle royale and somehow gotten them into UEFN through hacking or whatever. I'm just guessing cause I'm not sure what creative map you are talking about. If you send the code if you still have it I wouldn't mind checking it out. If the code didn't get banned in the case they DID jailbreak the mythics. Also not really sure of the difference between skill and ultimate skill either. Okay, I get it now. It uses signal remotes in the inventory for the button + timer. You can make them if you use a signal remote manager device which you can use to customize and detect events from the signal remotes. The signal remotes are items with rarities going from common to legendary. The timer is built into the device too. So use them for the skills. To get classes to work with the signal remotes so you can have more abilities than just 5. You can make it so a legendary one for example goes into 5 triggers, but each trigger is set up to where it only works with a certain class. So trigger 1 is class 1, trigger 2 is class 2, etc. Each trigger can activate a unique skill. To make the skills work, plus the whole animation, it's just a cinematic sequence with cameras, plus it might have props or import things that appear/disappear/move using transform and visibility tracks and the whole crazy VFX that plays when you do a skill is custom made with Niagara VFX that activates plus damage volumes that activate probably on gameplay events track in the sequencer. The text that appears is a hud message. To make the players move around you use a teleporter device that you either move to a location in the sequencer and then use a gameplay event to teleport (the more memory-efficient way) or just have a bunch of teleporters that sit around which you teleport to. And to make the players not be able to move during a sequence like that close up on that guy's face you can activate a mutator zone with movement set to 0 AND vfx off. There should be an option in each class desginer to make it so only 1 team can use it, set 5 to only team 1 and the other 5 to team 2. If I'm correct that should make the UI only show the 5 depending on what team you are.
Use a random number generator device, The zone and its length is imporyant for the number generator. Make the zone on, and make it's length how many classes you want. Then make the value also that amount. And naybe make roll time 0, and turn off sfx Then place a trigger in each part of the volume, hook each trigger into a class selector for each class, so when the trigger is triggered, it swaps the player to the class thats in the corolating selector. Then use a device that can pass in an instigator, like a mutator zone or a trigger that when player enters or on triggered the num generator activates. That should give the player a random class.
Sorry I skipped over it because I presumed you'd know what to do, I just connected a default button with no changes to the class selector UI device through events so the event "show popup UI when recieved from function" is binded to when that button is pressed.

We made a custom island based on classes at 6125-2980-7094, a good example of why we need to use class instead of team in Fortnite Creative or UEFN. I recommend either changing the lighting, or changing the color/texture of the barrier that keeps you in place when the game starts. I might be biased because I'm color blind, but it's really hard to see the barrier. The map looks cool!

I think you can only have a maximum of 16 classes. That might be why?

Hey man, how do I create different classes for each team?
As in when the UI pops up to choose the classes I'd like there to be say 5 classes for one team and 5 different classes for the other team!
There should be an option in each class desginer to make it so only 1 team can use it, set 5 to only team 1 and the other 5 to team 2. If I'm correct that should make the UI only show the 5 depending on what team you are.
