I have a 3 panel switch with the seperate USB plug with Volt meter but mine is wired always on. So I will be looking to add a toggle to turn it off. Very good video. Thank you for the detail. That has become your TRADEMARK! Happy New Year!!! Tight Lines!!!
Very informative video. I have the same switch panel and really like it. Mine is about 6 years old but my major complain with it is during the day I have a hard time seeing what is lit with the blue lighting. I may have just gotten a bad one but it works great. For the money you can't beat it.
With leaving the jumper wire across the grounds does this mean you do not need to ground each unit. Such as the bait well, live well, GPS unit? They would still need to run to a separate ground correct?
@justus5588 No. All ground wires can be jumped as long as all the switches are running off of the same battery. No need to separate them like the positive leads.
"Ask me how i know" indeed. I wish you had done this video years ago! Good tips, thank you!
@@SluSharkND I hear ya!

I did exactly the same thing. I'm only using 3 or 4 switches. A breaker might be a good idea also but i'm not sure at this point.
@@gewglesux breaker is helpful.
