More chance to hit the enemies Broadside than front side. 6- Most Cruiser don’t have Better Armor. So try to stick with a Battleship and support it, because you can Fire faster than a Battleship. I recommend using HE Salvos because of many shells you can keep firing. 7- Battleships are good near the center, since they can Fire the furthest, but needs supports from Cruisers to survive from Destroyers. 8- make sure you have the Right captain to your ship. Most Captains are better for certain ship class. 9- Make sure to start doing the Bureau’s to get Rewards and Ships. 10- Do Daily’s Missions to get Ore Rewards. 11- Just have Fun. I got a work around with 4, battleships are really good damage ships SO, you aim all your guns at the destroyer and shoot once. Once it takes the bait, fire the rest. Wasteful, but satisfying.

@@e.s.5529 ...nope...gold is used for purchasing premium time (gives xp and silver bonuses for each game you play), premium ships, and packages from the Store. Another great tutorial. Been playing since the beginning, and still get tunnel vision sometimes. Looking around while loading is great advice. Using gun lock as you recommend is also a great help. Ganging up on the crippled ships too! There is no such thing as kill stealing. You are eliminating an enemy’s guns from the battlefield. If there are 4 ships in my range, I will always focus the one closest to dead. An almost dead ship does just as much damage.
I think it just depends how you think i find WOW alot easier than WOT the tactics of what i need to do just comes naturally in a battleship to me but in tank i am terrible 🤣
I just started playing Legends after over a year of playing Blitz, thank you this was helpful. One thing to add to looking at the map, I got a habit of doing what I call Destroyer Inventory. Basically, see how many DDs are still alive in the enemy team vs how many are spotted, and if they don't add up the same, keep your head on a swivel, especially if in a BB.
Good point. I've been playing legends for a year and just started playing blitz (at work). And I'm surprised who the mobile version of the game is so much more complex, more ships, more upgrades, more voice commands. It's cool.
@@IOnlyCameToArgue I hope Legends gets there. I realize it much newer, but there's a few things I feel are lacking. Not being able to control your secondary guns directly is one.
Yeah I think the developers of legends want to keep their version of the game a bit more arcadey and easier for players to get into. They've stated on forums that they have no intention of bringing carriers or submarines in anytime soon. I would just like a few more voice commands but now that they just put in all the voice commands with nee languages they won't change it now unless they call all the voice actors back in. 7 tiers is enough for me, I'm done grinding to tier 7 for awhile anyway. It's such a kick in the nuts to work for a few weeks to get the Iowa or Fletcher only to have to spend money on the game because it would take weeks to grind out 18 million silver. And I rarely play my Iowa or Fletcher anyway. I have the most fun at tiers 4 and 5.
I’m new, last night I put all my commander xp onto one commander, then when I heard you say not to do that, I facepalmed. I wasn’t even aware I was paying a service charge and I was bee lining the British ships. I’m gonna go back on now and try the other nations aswell as playing a lot more with the map. Thank you for the video. Also sticking with teammates, I was just trying to play battleships like a sniper, cruisers like a ar and destroyers like a shotgun (I usually die straight away with destroyers)
Tip for destroyers don’t fire until you’re spotted get as close as you can. I hate seeing friendly destroyers fireing at a battles ship the second the battles ship is spotted and the destroyer get blown away befor it gets it’s torpedos out

Good advice. Everybody probably has a different #11 and #12 for that. Mine follow. #11 - Whatever you're driving, don't sail predictable courses for too long. If nothing seems to be happening, hit the brakes for a few seconds, or speed up, or alter your course, or SOMETHING. I've lost count of all the times I've done these things, only to have a wall of torps buzz through where I would have been a minute or so later #12 - Learn to use your Smoke Screen wisely. 20 seconds into the battle is almost always NOT wise - .it achieves nothing except advertise to the enemy that a DD is there who's already used one of its Smoke Screen charges.
I played from the beginning but will still watch this as I have not played for a few months but enjoy watching you, Spartan, Tactic et all!!! Thanks Man!!!

This was a good opportunity to do it right from the beginning. I'm still trying to get used to the difference between the two versions, but this is great foundational stuff. I don’t know how to communicate with my teammates. Something I need to learn. Sometimes I see messages pop, but don’t know who is communicating and even if it was directed to me.
Battleships switch to HE if you're up against destroyers. Especially at game start cause that'll be first contact. Don't over penetrate with AP... If you already have AP loaded aim a little lower below the water line
That to me is the biggest thing to do in this game I’ve been playing for a year and recognizing what the enemy ship is and what it’s stats are are vary important. Example your in a battle ship and you see a Russian destroyer and he is 8 km away I know his torpedos have a range of 4 km so I’m not afraid of him. But then you see a Japanese destroy and he has a range of 10 km I am scared of him. Or you see a American cruiser I know they are the easiest thing to citadel
I need to work on battlefield awareness more and helping my teammates. I would say to rush one ship (non carrier) line to tier VII or now VIII. Then that way you can have at least one ship in any tier for special events and such. Premium currency (doubloons) are probably best spent on Admiral Backing once you reach milestone 100 in the monthly campaigns. A tier VIII ship for 2500 doubloons is a great deal, assuming you can play well at that tier.
As an average player with a below average win rate, a nugget of advice. Stick with your team, one ship is a juicy target for all. Three ships are a tough match.
Bought the game today, but had to go to work while it updated. Your advice about leveling up ALL the lower tiers b4 going to the higher ones would have been good advice for WOT. I got my tank shot out from under me so many times...
Great video we need to educate our new player base so they don't run away, this game is so fun once you get the basic concepts. I played world of tanks for over 4 years the concepts just made sense to me. Was a decent player out the gate. Hang in there guys this game only gets funner. They give you way more Incentives to play and cheaper premium vehicles with Admiral backing then world of tanks. Be patient take your time watch game events and game modes to stack in game goods and crates to unlock new ships at a cheaper cost.🏴☠️😎🏴☠️
I can usually tell when a ship blows, and I'm NEVER going to play it again...no qualms about selling those...it's funny how you mentioned the New York as an example...😄😂🤪
Last round, I was the last player left because I had to avoid showing my broadside to an enemy battleship, but instead, I ended up being killed by 4 cruisers and I couldn’t do much because no matter where I tried to go, I’d die, almost killed that battleship too!
@Tbull Between the De Grasse and the Molotov -- which is better in your opinion? I love both. I do about equally well with each, so I'm not sure which I like better. To be honest, they seem pretty similar, my play style doesn't change much depending on which one I'm using. They both are big fire starters, both hit pretty hard, and they both can get citadeled into oblivion when in bad position. That said, you can kite a bit more with the De Grasse, while the Molotov has better AP and hits more citadels from distance.
i found its possible to citidel cruisers with american destroyers, is this common to most destroyer calibre ap or specific to more gun boaty ones? would that be an exception to he for destroyers or does it just come down to if theyre broadside fire for citidels?
I don't quite get it. Selling the previous tire ship seems to have worked out fine for me. I mean since the first time I got my hands on Emerland the only thing I was looking forward to was to get the necessary xp in order to unlock Leander. Same story with Icarus and Jevris. Without selling some ships I wouldn't have been able to progress to tier 6. So what's the catch?
Unless you are much better than your average new player, you will not be making positive income from T6 and especially T7 matches, and if you've sold your previous ships you will quickly be bankrupt and forced to start over with a T1 and work your way back up. Just don't sell the tier 5 and up is my advice
I worked multiple tech trees to progress and generate currency. Sold all my ships on tier up. Was rn bb, kms cruiser, USA dd, main focus was RN bb. Rest were used for farming. Dds at t4 are great farming.
I'm new to the game this week, ps4 player, and I'm loving the game after only getting to rank 10 in a couple of days. These videos look like just the thing I need as a noobie. Have u any 2021 up to date videos.?
does anyone know which is better? I have an iPad Pro 13in 2024 generation and a MacBook Pro 14 m3 chip. I can play on the iPad very well, but I've never done it on a Mac. does anyone have any thoughts?
Wait How'd you get gun lock button? I've been looking for that for ages hate looking where the enemy's are then waiting few seconds for my guns to move back into firing position

I used to be a WT player so some of these concepts make sense (such as service cost) but i didnt know most of these useful tips such as the presence of armor angling. Thanks for helping out the new players like me.
How does the torp white aiming line show you which way the enemy ship is going? I play a PC & cruisers but I imagine the principle is the same. All great tips, I did sell some low tier ships to get credits to buy other low tier ships. I was only keeping tier 5 and up and according to you that is a mistake on my part, however, I still have plenty of free credits and xp credits, but I'm out of doubloons which is sad and I have to figure out how to get more doubloons.
@@TbullGaming Cool that is great information to know... Thanks for your reply... BTW I do have two tier 1 and the rest are tier 4, 5, & 8 all cruisers.
...different ships work a little differently, but I find good luck in reducing my rudder shift time, which enables me to dodge incoming fire, and / or decreasing my visibility, so I can disappear when I need to disengage. Vary your speed just about constantly, and change directions even more often. Be aware of which enemies are targeting you, and angle your ship away from them...you can dodge their shots, and avoid torpedoes. Above all, don't show your broadside to them, or there may very well be an Earth shattering kaboom... When starting a fight with an enemy, and you're still hidden, avoid shooting until you're already just past broadside, and turning away from them...by the time they react, you're already angled away. Then, wait for them to shoot, and alter your course away from the shells...you can oftentimes dodge most.
@@mrkos87 ...well, yeah, it happens to everyone...I remember dodging every shot from a New York way back when...not the most accurate ship at long range, and then, one shell deviates WAY outside the group of shells...I dodged the group, but this one shell plunged through my deck armor, and took half my health...what ya gonna do? 😄😂🤪
@@Zapranoth-lf8nt But what i try to say is that cruisers got destroyed in a blink of an eye and for example destroyers get away with much more. You now what i mean? And i know, cruisers a bigger etc..
I played World of Tanks for years so thought I’d give this a go. Thank you for your clear and concise video, I look forward to watching many more to help me get started and progress 👍Liked and subbed! 🏴😁
Did the same thing, played world of tanks for 4 years now seen this game come out had to try it out! But the information really helps you get along in the game without been sunk every match lol
My advice would be to get all of the cruiser lines in the game up to level 3 first, then level. Doing so will give you a lot more game experience and a chance to try out different lines before going further, as well as a chance to see which lines you get commanders for early. If you are determined to just work on one line, I would suggest the Japanese cruisers first
Антон Эдвард you promote the best three for the ship you are using not just its main commander. Your two inspirations are very important. The higher they are the more their inspiration matters.
The more ships you have the better ,they have a bonus in the form of a star, also go straight at enemy , back up destroyers and kill destroyers they are the biggest threat , is ok if you loose just as long as you fought hard ,you get your ship back , i dont recomend a frighten player to play standard because you are useless hiding plus you dont progress well ,
I’ve sold plenty of my lower tier ships but I’ve got plenty of other tech tree ships I’m grinding too, I know I’ll never be in that position for hurting for credits
Do you have any tips for players moving up to that next level? I have quite a bit of experience in the game and I was doing well when I got the hang of tiers 4 and 5, but moving up from there has been quite inconsistent.
T6 is where stock ships really get punished. Without upgrades you can have 10% less HP, RoF, range, etc.. so it is always rough until the ship is fully upgraded. Personally i use green xp to buy the first upgrade for every new ship.
The higher tiers are where you'll more consistently be punished for your mistakes, so you need to take all the fundamentals you've hopefully learned and make them as consistent as possible
Good afternoon. Enjoy and appreciate all the great information you have provided for new players such as myself. Friends and I have been playing in division together which is capped at 3 it seems, but have recently talked another friend into playing the game. How can we all play together in same matches? Link divisions? Enter matches together? Grateful for any help with this issue please. o7
If you're asking why the are disappearing, they are moving to a point where there are no enemy ships in their blue detection ring on the mini map that have a clear line of sight to them. I have a vision and spotting mechanics video in the beginner's guide playlist that breaks it down in depth that will help you out
I've been messing around with this game for about 3 years now and honestly? Yeah. Accurate. But I actively avoid selling ships as much as possible. However, I sell the ones I either don't find fun OR ones I know I'm not going to grind. For example, I knew I wasn't going to be able to grind more than 2 tech trees, so I ditched my Italian BB, since I'm going hard on French TT lines.
Grinding for credits in tier 7 will average out a lower amount over time compared to T5-T6. Get on a couple of bad times in T7 and you will lose credits. T6 I average 500k-800k per match win or lose. I have 260m credits right now. Lol
Save them for permanent camos on your higher tier ships. Basically don't use them at all on your lower tier ships, up to tier 4. You want them on all higher tier destroyers first, then the higher tier cruisers.

Wish these tips were in game but I'm glad I found this when I did!
Love the gamer tag, havent been playing long, glad i found this channel
That to me is the biggest thing to do in this game I’ve been playing for a year and recognizing what the enemy ship is and what it’s stats are are vary important. Example your in a battle ship and you see a Russian destroyer and he is 8 km away I know his torpedos have a range of 4 km so I’m not afraid of him. But then you see a Japanese destroy and he has a range of 10 km I am scared of him. Or you see a American cruiser I know they are the easiest thing to citadel
Thanks for this video i have been playing the game awhile and its a big grind to a point where i have to take breaks.
I'm bout to hop in for the first time today, thanks for the tips!
I did make the mistake of selling my old ships, but that was before the service cost came into play, wish I didn't though. But great tip video!
As an average player with a below average win rate, a nugget of advice. Stick with your team, one ship is a juicy target for all. Three ships are a tough match.
Good video man!
Thanks!
@@TbullGaming it's funny that you uploaded this as I have a Q&A video uploading
Can u tell me again for the bullets i am kinda confused which bullet do i use in which ship
Cc-he bb-ap dd-he
Bought the game today, but had to go to work while it updated. Your advice about leveling up ALL the lower tiers b4 going to the higher ones would have been good advice for WOT. I got my tank shot out from under me so many times...
Thanks brother, really helpful. I’m new WOWL
Good video Tbull keep up the good work!!!
It would be cool to have reallistic wheater scenes like rough seas, or storms, nigh, high waves and fog that makes it less reallistic..
Another fine video on the important things to know for new/Er playas
I can usually tell when a ship blows, and I'm NEVER going to play it again...no qualms about selling those...it's funny how you mentioned the New York as an example...😄😂🤪
Last round, I was the last player left because I had to avoid showing my broadside to an enemy battleship, but instead, I ended up being killed by 4 cruisers and I couldn’t do much because no matter where I tried to go, I’d die, almost killed that battleship too!
How to transfer assets to help upgrade to other ship tiers,
how do you turn on chat with ps4?
@Tbull Between the De Grasse and the Molotov -- which is better in your opinion? I love both. I do about equally well with each, so I'm not sure which I like better. To be honest, they seem pretty similar, my play style doesn't change much depending on which one I'm using. They both are big fire starters, both hit pretty hard, and they both can get citadeled into oblivion when in bad position. That said, you can kite a bit more with the De Grasse, while the Molotov has better AP and hits more citadels from distance.
love the channel tbull . thanks this helped buddy .
i found its possible to citidel cruisers with american destroyers, is this common to most destroyer calibre ap or specific to more gun boaty ones? would that be an exception to he for destroyers or does it just come down to if theyre broadside fire for citidels?
Broadside and relatively close range. Russian and US destroyers have the best AP for it
Someone know how to chase drupel after shoot? Like on PC?
Great Tips , I just redownloaded Legends , I only played on PC , But , I'll give it another shot
Thanks strong work as usual!!
Great video. Wish he would have pinned the tips in the comments, though.
I'm new to the game this week, ps4 player, and I'm loving the game after only getting to rank 10 in a couple of days. These videos look like just the thing I need as a noobie. Have u any 2021 up to date videos.?
Yeah I have a lot of new videos, usually put out a handful of new ones every week
Good video as always Steibel, thank you!
How do you get such large font size. I spend half my time squinting at the monitor because the font is tiny.
This is the console version. Pretty much the same game in terms of mechanics and strategy but a different layout on the sceeen
does anyone know which is better? I have an iPad Pro 13in 2024 generation and a MacBook Pro 14 m3 chip. I can play on the iPad very well, but I've never done it on a Mac. does anyone have any thoughts?
Wait How'd you get gun lock button? I've been looking for that for ages hate looking where the enemy's are then waiting few seconds for my guns to move back into firing position
Controller preset 3 has the option
Thanks! I'll be changing that before I have a match 👍
EXACTALY what I told my nephew that plays this game good but is very impatient. He buys then sells everything ro get to the next item he wants..lol I told him do not di this and I do not even know the game as well as he does. He has been playing for almost 2 yrs and me maybe 6 months. This to be is just pure gaming logic. Unless your a beginner like your saying or a kid that knows nothing about how to play this game. Take this advice from you. Its like GOLD!
Is it better to have bigger guns or more guns? And is it better to use a battleship or a destroyer?
What if the battleship has Superior HE pen and Pyromania on it? Would we go for AP or go for HE?
I also use ps4 and I always die and also plz tell me what button to press to say a thing like GO BACK or yea coz Ik that button is R1 but how to activate them? plz help me
Once you pull up the command wheel them point to the commander with the joystick and it will go off
Are stats actually accurate? I don't know so I relly on stats because um not sure what's better and what's not
I used to be a WT player so some of these concepts make sense (such as service cost) but i didnt know most of these useful tips such as the presence of armor angling. Thanks for helping out the new players like me.
new subscriber-. thanks for all those tips and tricks
Welcome aboard!
Don’t hurry to get to Tier 7 is great advice. The fun is at tier 5. T7 is boring.
If the torp aim is pointed directly at the ship, it's sitting still. The further away from the ship it's pointing, the faster it's moving
@@TbullGaming Cool that is great information to know... Thanks for your reply... BTW I do have two tier 1 and the rest are tier 4, 5, & 8 all cruisers.
Can i use mouse and keyboard in this game?
Hi which ships do you prefer using?
What ship is that
My one question is how do you play with a friend on a different console? I know you can end up with them in a game, but can you invite them?
Not yet. It is a feature they are working on
Unless you are in a British battleship facing a bow tanking enemy. Then hp is the way to go. And many others in same situation.
Why do some battleships have slow reloading speed? Like when I am waiting to reload? Destroyers come and Oof me!
Great vids.
Do you have a tip for playing cruisers? I often go down even if i am sitting vertical against an other ship. Sometimes you can't find cover.
...different ships work a little differently, but I find good luck in reducing my rudder shift time, which enables me to dodge incoming fire, and / or decreasing my visibility, so I can disappear when I need to disengage.
@@Zapranoth-lf8nt Thanks for your answer. I try to dodge shots often, but even when i am good angled they hit me hard.
@@mrkos87 ...this is true...cruisers are the hardest type to play...I also find them to be the most fun...kinda weird, I know...
How do you follow shells on PS4??
One of the controller presets has the option. I would recommend using preset 3 instead, which gives you the ability to lock the guns
@@TbullGaming thank you!!!
Hey @tbull any recommendations regarding the flag usage? Been said to stock them until tier 5? What's your take?
Map awareness, battlefield 4 I'm more often looking at my map than the field.
Thx for the help. I have like 80 + games. I am going to focus just on this game until July 2021.

See you at sea.
Service costs ? I'm new to the game but haven't seen this in game yet. Do they starts once you reach a certain level ?
Do I upgrade my ships in lower tier? or they're just a waste of money?
Everyone who plays ranked should watch this before they’re allowed to enter a ranked que lol
What country has the best cruisers I just started this game
My advice would be to get all of the cruiser lines in the game up to level 3 first, then level. Doing so will give you a lot more game experience and a chance to try out different lines before going further, as well as a chance to see which lines you get commanders for early.
If you are determined to just work on one line, I would suggest the Japanese cruisers first
Lol i didn't even knew that you could sell ships😅
Bruh

Man, I burned so many promotion orders on commanders I never use. Getting my main captain maxed out will now be a crawl past Legendary 2.
Антон Эдвард you promote the best three for the ship you are using not just its main commander. Your two inspirations are very important. The higher they are the more their inspiration matters.
@@kevinwebster7868 Yeah I'm there now. Hindsight and all that.
The more ships you have the better ,they have a bonus in the form of a star, also go straight at enemy , back up destroyers and kill destroyers they are the biggest threat , is ok if you loose just as long as you fought hard ,you get your ship back , i dont recomend a frighten player to play standard because you are useless hiding plus you dont progress well ,
I had this game for computer and was amazing at it but am skeptical with it that it’s on console now
Can you play with a friend that plays on pc if you’re on ps4?
No, that is a different game entirely
Thanks for this video it was ready helpfully
Hey Tbull make a video for tier 7s.
10 Tips for Veteran Tier 7 Noobs.
Good afternoon. Enjoy and appreciate all the great information you have provided for new players such as myself. Friends and I have been playing in division together which is capped at 3 it seems, but have recently talked another friend into playing the game. How can we all play together in same matches? Link divisions? Enter matches together? Grateful for any help with this issue please. o7
how are people going Ghost on world of warships legends xbox one?
My Jean Bart makes the most consistent money hands down. I've rarely lost money In this game, World of Tanks however is a different story.
Grinding for credits in tier 7 will average out a lower amount over time compared to T5-T6. Get on a couple of bad times in T7 and you will lose credits. T6 I average 500k-800k per match win or lose. I have 260m credits right now. Lol
Do you need to be online to play this game or is there a story mode
Online only
Is it worth using your camo or are you better off saving them to make a permanent camo?
Save them for permanent camos on your higher tier ships. Basically don't use them at all on your lower tier ships, up to tier 4. You want them on all higher tier destroyers first, then the higher tier cruisers.
@@TbullGaming thank you, and someone who just started playing this was a great video ty
Doing Gods work
Havent sold i ship didnt know it was possible but also havent really needed money
