    ONE close game against Patriots does NOT change the fact the 2016 Falcons were one of the Greatest Teams of the decade. Full Stop. When you're a serious football fan, rewinding plays, you realize every game matters the same to EVERYONE involved, its the same game, no matter if its September or February, losing is the same pain. AND you realize that LUCK wins every close game, any ONE play going the other way would have changed the outcome. But American Pro Football fandom sucks; few appreciate the games within the game, and assume nothing before the Playoffs 'matters' and that only one team had a good year, the other 10 teams with 10 or more wins were a total failure for losing the last game of the year. Eventually I foresee a decline in viewership; once you realize at 6-4 you can't/wont beat the 10-0 team in your conference, why bother tuning in to December. This is also why Youth Sports is dying, a 10 team league, has one super team 6-0, the kids on the 0-6, 1-5, squads stop showing up to practice, their classmates are all 'YOU SUCK' and they can say, no THEY suck, I quit that loser team. Congratulations America, for shaming kids not on the juggernaut team with the kids going through puberty faster, the Participation trophies suddenly anathema like they're new, that are at least 40 years old; I saw hundreds of them in bedrooms as a child in the 80's in every boys home and I earned a few too on shit teams.

    The 2016 team was special. It's a shame they couldn't finish when it really mattered.

      "Really Mattered" was every single game they suited up for. There's no 'Doesn't matter' in a 16 game season, not a single coach or player sees the game the way a majority of fans do, Oh its nice they played well for 4 months, but not when it 'mattered'. Its really a shame the way fans of every team can't appreciate the most awesome to watch teams, because they lose one postseason game. Just remember it as special, full stop. Instead its like 'they lost the game that really mattered' like nothing else matters. Look, if you're not the Patriots, that doesn't mean your not the greatest team of 2016. It's one game. The Patriots always won thier postseasons with Defense, never with Offense, when they WERE offensive based in 07, 2010,2011, and 2017 guess what happened? Those are all Bradys best seasons. The Falcons absolutely outperformed expectations in that Superbowl they had no business getting ANY lead on New England. That they gave the Patriots fits, the way their awful 28th ranked defense demolished Brady for 2 quarters is unreal.
      The Falcons played a whole lot of other games. I have 4 or so epic 2016 Falcons games here. ruclips.net/p/PLbGLzzomCfA5npQeb0jTnkevd_2UmV-FA

      @Razh 80 Full agreement. It's incredible, its even more fun when you rewind plays and look how Kyle attacked defenses. I loaded the best 5 games here: ruclips.net/p/PLbGLzzomCfA5npQeb0jTnkevd_2UmV-FA theres 125 other games in that list worth your offseason time. RUclips is a better platform then Gamepass because you can rewind 5 seconds if on a computer. I download game files and use VLC for customizable skips.

    The 2016 season was the most fun I had as a Falcons fan in my life unfortunately it didn't end like I've wanted it to my whole life and the Falcons still haven't recovered from the Super Bowl loss

    • @WalterWhiteFootballSharing
      @WalterWhiteFootballSharing  4 года назад

      It's not 'Recover from Superbowl' It's "recover from replacing Kyle Shanahan". Dan Quinn did a moronic move in going away from that entire Offensive school alltogether. The Shanahan Offense School has plenty of acolytes and assistants as it's ALSO Sean McVay, Kubiak.

    • @WalterWhiteFootballSharing
      @WalterWhiteFootballSharing  4 года назад

      That whole nonsense about teams being ruined by losing a Superbowl...Except for the Patriots EVERY team regresses from WINNING a Superbowl too. But if you change your entire Offense after a historic season like Dan Quinn, YOUR A FUCKING IDIOT. Thats like taking a Number 1 Defense 4-3 and going 3-4.

      Falcons are 0 and 2 in the super bowl super 33 and super bowl 51 they just can’t get it done

    • @WalterWhiteFootballSharing
      @WalterWhiteFootballSharing  Год назад

      @@chrisrenshaw6291 Its a silly distortion. Many teams never won superbowls; winning the conference is still a huge achievement. "Can't get it done" against historic teams like the 1998 Broncos and the #1 Defense 2016 Patriots. Even the Superbowl winners lose a few games; but fans think if its the last game, it means a team sucks, can't 'get it done'. What happens in 1998 has absolutely no bearing on a whole new team GM and HC just 6 years later never mind 20.

    This season was special specifically because we entered the season with no high expectations at all and we surprised a lot of people by making it to the playoffs. People kept saying that Seattle was pretty good we killed them. People said Aaron Rodgers was too hot no one wanted to play the Packers and we demolished them. In the Super Bowl when I went to school everyone said New England would kill us that they're experience would matter but we demolished New England even while having the 28th ranked defense. For three quarters we murdered Tom Brady in a way that has never been seen. We lost in overtime but that season was special to me in so many ways and I will never forget it. Comment if you want

      I torrented a lot of 2016 Falcons games, its a Kyle Shanahan Clinic. Lots of articles were written back then about it. I uploaded whatever they didn't block onto this playlist. Some are wins, some are losses, all are exciting as hell. ruclips.net/p/PLbGLzzomCfA5npQeb0jTnkevd_2UmV-FA

      Surprisingly, neither of the 2 Falcons Saints games of 2016 were close. During the Matt Ryan vs Brees Era from 2008 there were so many thrilling shootouts. Also the NFC South was fun as hell 2014-15-16-17 with the Panthers; Saints, Falcons all able to score at will. Back to Back #1 Offense 2015 Panthers 2016 Falcons.

    The fact a bad 2016 Falcons Defense shut out Brady for a whole half, the fact this Offense scored 28 on a D that Only ALLOWED 15 points a game, the Falcons did more then what all Number 1 Offenses and MVP QBs do in the postseason. Look it up, they usually lose in Jan, rarely make it to SB. 2018 Chiefs, 2013 Broncos, 2012 Patriots, 2010 Patriots, 2011 Packers, 2013 Broncos, 2014 packers, 2015 Panthers, 2016 Falcons, 2019 Ravens, 2020 Packers, all #1 offenses, no titles. That doesn't take away from those Offenses and Accomplishments. There is so little appreciation for Great football among the low info fans who tune in to a handful of games and the Superbowl, and that's it. They lack curiosity, they don't love football because they don't KNOW football, and don't care to read a few books and articles and videos. For those who want to, check out the channels and links I posted on my front page.

      "Revenge against Kyle"? That's pathetic, you grudge your best off coordinator in team history for moving on to HC. What ALL coordinators do when they succeed The Patriots ruined 2016; not Kyle, who gave you the best offense in Falcons history.

    • @WalterWhiteFootballSharing
      @WalterWhiteFootballSharing  4 года назад +2

      Nice revenge though, you showed him, missing the playoffs while the Niners won the NFC in the 1st year of having the starting QB healthy. You SUCK Kyle. Dan Quinn is a hack, he could have continued the same scheme by promoting from within; but he has no fucking clue.

  • @JahNuhThunDeeTheOneAndOnly
    @JahNuhThunDeeTheOneAndOnly Год назад +1

    In all seriousness, the Falcons should have beaten the Patriots by at least 10 with smarter coaching decisions in the 2nd half (NOT just Shanahan but Dan Quinn too).

    • @WalterWhiteFootballSharing
      @WalterWhiteFootballSharing  Год назад

      2016 Patriots are #1 D allowed 15 points per game. 28 is a LOT of points to score for a whole game and they did it in a half. The run game wasn't working, it's not like he didn't call ANY runs, but it was 0-3 yard gains. You gotta get first downs if your run isnt giving 4 to 5 you give it back quicker. Losing scared becoming what you aren't is the worst, losing by being your #1 Pass offense identity is respectable at least.

    • @WalterWhiteFootballSharing
      @WalterWhiteFootballSharing  Год назад

      Its the Defense, that failed to stop the Patriots at ALL. Offensive teams with MVPs seldom even make it to the SB; the Falcons O did their job, usually you see 2015 Panthers, 2013 Broncos, 2010 Patriots, 2012 Packers, 2018 Rams getting stomped v #1 Ds in Jan-Feb in ugly games. The Kyle heroically broke the trend and still gets ridiculed.

    The 5 Best Falcons games condensed are stashed on this list. Win or lose it was epic football. ruclips.net/p/PLbGLzzomCfA5npQeb0jTnkevd_2UmV-FA
    Blame Dan Quinn; a Defensive HC who in 5 years CANT assemble and coach a D. 27th, 25th, 23rd in points allowed, peaking at 2017 at 8th. 2017 Could have just hired from within Shanahan/McVey/Kubiak school of offense (Outside Zone play action) to replace Kyle; what any non idiot HC would have done after setting all team offense records. Nope. He hired Sarkisian, changing everything. You NEVER EVER CHANGE SCHEMES when you're number 1. If they kept the Same Off into 2017 with 8th Defense would have ended the Eagles SB run in the first round, ((before Nick Foles figured out the offense the next week vs Vikings.)) Would have beaten the 2017 Patriots in the SB who had a bad D in 2017. Because 2016 Patriots were NUMBER ONE in fewest Pts and Kyle STILL hung 28; NOBODY else in 2016 scored 28 in 4 quarters but Kyle achieved it in 2.
