He really is getting good in the edge. It has so much power. You can basically hang it in the prop.

1:40 FWIW, Alternative to GoPro Audio I use for cockpit audio: Zoom F2 Lavalier. Super tiny, audio jack screws the plug onto the recorder, control locking mechanism keeps it recording even of it is bumped, hours of battery life keeps recording after GP dies etc.
Not sure why I never thought of this. I've got a couple Rode GO IIs with lavs that would probably work great for this. Are you just piggybacking / clipping it on the headset mic? How's the sound, is there a lot of ambient?
I bought a backup system similar to what you’re talking about to use just in case this happens again
@@carlcostas6072 I fly acro with the Clarity Aloft headset. It has a 1/8" jack for audio out, so I connect a 1/8" male-to-male cable between the Clarity and the Zoom. My Pitts is extremely loud, so yessir, lots of ambient but, the sound is still incredible as the Zoom will record in 96,000 Hz.
How did the new carb work out? I also fly my cub with a friend that has a Hurricane. Loving the Cub content. Keep ‘em coming!
That’s crazy! I figured we would be the only two. The new carb works great. I talked about it but the audio completely failed

Haha they are literally the perfect camera for what I film, but every once and a while they fail on me
