Two great songs. I saw them live twice in one week in 1977. the first night I was with two friends. and when we sat down in our seats before the concert started. my friend unexpectedly passed me a small piece of paper around a half of centimeter square. and I put it on my tongue not knowing totally what to expect. Led Zeppelin was my favorite band. but that night I saw rock Gods on stage.
I haven't seen you show up for awhile, I'll have to check and see what's up with that. I was really enjoying following your Zeppelin journey, so I'm really happy to see you're back. Yes, I love both of these songs, love the whole album! We were all running to the record store whenever a new album was released, and standing in line watching everyone else buying it too. There was just nothing like bringing home the new album, opening it up, putting it on the turntable, and smoking a joint while hearing it all for the first time. Staring at the album cover, checking out all the liner notes, and just savoring everything about it. Then at the end of side two, flipping the record over and doing it all again. Man, those were the days! ☮️❤️
So D'yer Mak'er is a play on words. Like Y'all for you all. It short for "did you make her". Thats the story I heard on POR and he's a very reliable source.
Houses of the holy is my favourite Led Zeppelin album! Awesome reaction J! Like button smashed! :)

D’yer Mak’er is an English play Jamaica, this is kind of a take on Reggae. They definitely have a verity of genres.
To say dyer maker correctly the first word is pronounced as jer …. So like jermaker
