I love the song. Salil Choudhary was a fantastic Music Composer & Shailendra's lyrics as usual are top class.
Sangeeta I have heard you sing the same song along with Rana & I prefer that version compared to this one. Surojit is undoubtedly best when he sings Hemant Kumar songs but appeared off color singing Talat song. Rana sings Talat Mehmood songs with the silken touch. You cannot be faulted as you do your bit well as usual.

I started watching songs on youtube sung by various artists starting with Surojitji and Sangeetaji about 2 years back ( lockdown period )...I must have heard each duets not less than 2-3 times.
In addition to be blessed excellent voice of both, both are passionate and involved in their performance.
Sangeetaji specially has pleasing facial expression and movements..Probably this comes from her devotion to Lord Krishna..
Sangeeta ji is a natural talent.Aapki smile dilko chholeta hai(Respect).
I am sure; certainly a big wig( anybody's guess) of Bombay film 🎥 industry blocked thissmily Sangeeta. So she could not shine on the bollywood music
