I currently work in the uk for invenio water leakage detection, your videos are very clear and precise you would be an excellent trainer.

We have a leak in a ~40 PSI poly pipe system at a depth of ~6 feet, in gravel. Can you confirm that this unit should be capable of detecting this leak? Can you tell me an estimate of the depth of pipe you're detecting in this video (and any other info you might have such as pipe material, PSI)? I see snow on the ground so it must be fairly deep.

Would this also work as a electrical cable locator ?
On domestic households , I’m a plumber/drainlayer and pretty much 90% of the time the cable is laid in the trench with the drains so if it picks up cable you could track the main drag of the drain to a extent ? Aswell as it being a leak detector ?

Sorry it doesn't locate power. But we have a fine line a cable and pipe locators. The RD7200 on our website would work well for your application.

so basically you move the elephants foot to the spot where you get the loudest noise?

That is correct. Easy as that.

Yes when you are on concrete. The elephant foot helps block ambient noise from traffic and wind. On soil you would use the soft soil foot or probe.
