@@aabhashmukherjee for finding how many bonds are there 1st we need to know how many atoms are there..for ex: for f2= 2 atoms ,ho2 = 3 atoms.. 2)except hydrogen all follows octet...hydrogen form divalent ..so for other elment like f2 we need multiply it by 8 (ie) 2*8 =16••••1 3)then we need to find valence electrons for f the velence electron is 7 ...there are 2f so 2*7=14••••2 4) the we need to subtract 2 from 1(ie)18-16=2electrons ..1bond will have 2 electrons.... And the atomic number of f is 9 so for f2 9*2 =18 Hope it will help u 🙏
