You don't need to wrap Teflon tape around the male connector coming from the base of the toilet tank, since the black rubber cone in the T-adapter already provides a seal to the connection.

Hello, the rubber needs to be fully inserted with the flat side flushed at the bottom of the T-valve. Also looks like initially the rubber was not fully inserted so the Tvalve went on crooked on the toilet tank valve- if you used a wrench the thread might have been damaged slightly from forcing the Tvalve to go in crooked. @@roushaunlatham3919 The way you have it is correct (tapered/raised side up ) but needs to be fully inserted until the flat side is flush at the bottom of the Tvalve. The main issue in your video is that the Tvalve was connected crooked at the bottom of your toilet tank. If you forced it the plastic thread might be damaged now.

Had a similar problem with a different manufacturer bidet but same style t fitting. The flat washer that came didn’t seal correctly and that beveled washer also leaked. Probably bad threads on the fill valve so maybe you swapped it and that solved the problem?

Hey brondell I am facing the same issue, T valve just won’t fit. If I take out rubber valve it fits but then it leaks.

Having the same problem. Doesn't seem to matter how many times I try to re-seat the T-adapter, it just goes on crooked and leaks. Rubber gasket fully inserted with beveled side up as directed. Very frustrating.
