the true is that few days before the concert he was taking antibiotics and cancelled his solo concerts in Poland.
Michal (incredible man from Poland 2016) was his mentor in The Voice I think. I just saw them singing together and I'm more happy and hyped than before. 😭♥️ Krystian has a mesmerizing voice, I can't get enough of him.
Krystian is just sensational. His vocal is just incredible. Poland have a real chance of winning Eurovision 2022. 12 points from me!

I feel like some people assume his English isn't going to be good because he's a polish contestant so they don't even bother to listen to the lyrics...yet Krystian was born and raised in the US, he's a native English speaker and you can perfectly understand the lyrics so wtf Suzanne, put some effort at least

I'm so sorry if i sounded rude or anything, but it's sort of a delicate subject, especially since the guy in the video (your friend) started with a comment "oh i can understand him" and i saw a lot of reactioners being like "oh his English is not bad"(?! he's basically american for god sake 😭). I've heard a lot of really bad English from western people but it never seem to be an issue, yet it's always a problem when people from the east have it. And I'm not talking only about the East Europe here. In Krystian's case opinions like that sound even more ridiculous since like I've mentioned, he's a native English speaker and his English is basically better than his Polish. So i hope you understand, we just face a lot of discrimination when it comes to accents and i guess that's why I overreacted 🙏

People - stop commenting on the look of the stage because it was influenced by telvision Poland. The song is incredibly refined and simple at the same time. In my humble opinion as far as vocal skills are concerned Krystian has no equal with other candidates from other countries. I'm a bit disappointed with the content of this review because talking about someone's beauty and ignoring the concept of the song is just weak. I expected something more from you wiwibloggs. I think Poland will definitely be the Trojan horse at Eurovision this year and its main opponent will be Italy. I wish the song was reviewed by William, because he is much more professional than you two…

The LED staging could use some work (tired of blue/pink/purple after last year) but I loved that Kristan used a band onstage instead of him solo or with dancers.

@Ulf I love the song I understand it more like fighting inner demons or when you have to make a difficult choice in your life something like that at least for me. The word "river" is here connected with calm, silence and relaxation. Krystian said: "At this difficult time we need to find a moment to slow down, take a breath and escape from the crowd/ noise/ hustle and bustle / bad things that happened around us now".

This song has such a mood, and could certainly win. Its nearest competitor is Italy. In 1994, Poland debuted with Edyta Górniak and the song "To nie ja", and ended up placing 2nd. That has been their best placing ever. This has the chance to at least equal that. He has beautiful vocals and the song sets up the melancholy mood with the piano but the drums propel it along so it never feels like it gets stuck or too boring. It also kind of reminds me of Duncan Laurence's "Arcade", but Krystian mostly avoids the falsetto and the drums aren't crashing at parts, they're just there to give the song a pulse, like a river's current. I can't wait to see how this does in Torino. Obviously not all the songs have been chosen yet, but this is one of the best so far. The Norwegian song is a joke, the Slovenian song is dated, and the Latvian song, well, the less said about that the better. It's nice to see some countries putting a really strong foot forward, like Estonia, Italy (as always) and now Poland. Will we see Warsaw 2023?

The national final performance is not Krystian's full potential. He has a minor illness right now and the staging is cheap because the final was in a tv studio and the artists had only one rehearsal before their performance. I'm sure it will be better in Turin and we will try to bring ESC 2023 to Poland.
Yes, he released sometime ago his first album. It's very similar vibe to the 'River'. It's called Ochman. You can try listen to 'Światłocienie' (eng version 'Lights in the dark') and 'Wielkie tytuły'. : )
Btw there will be a fountain at the Turin stage, so I think it will match perfectly.

Thank you so much for your enthusiastic reaction to Krystian.And a big shout out to you and UK, I’ve been living there most of the time in London and I loved it but because unforeseen circumstances I had to come back to Poland.Unfortunately Eurovision is very political, so not necessarily the best songs wins.But even if Krystian doesn’t win or even takes a low place, I don’t care.I know he is the best, he has got the best voice.I’m not sure if he’s got an album yet,But he’s got few songs and they are a great.I believe he’s working on the album but he is not in a rush as he is still studying.He’s not the type sex drugs and rock ‘n’ roll, for him education is very important so he wants to finish and get a diploma.For me the best vocalist of the world was Freddie Mercury no one even can come close, but Krystian is very close💕

Stunning song and the vocalist but the staging was appalling. Once this is fixed for the actual Eurovision performance, Poland could really go high up in the ranks!

Hello . Krystian is great. I sent him up to 7 text messages in voting. My favorite. The song chirps the soul. In a positive sense. A few days before the Polish selections, he canceled his performances because he is sick. In the studio version, there were no falsetto in the lines. Only in the climax part. The video itself is dark which increases the atmosphere. We'll see what will change for the performance at Eurovision. But there is a great chance for a win or a high place, as we wish in the end. Very nice reaction! Definitely you need react to his "Lights in the Dark ", or Prometeusz , or Wielkie Tytuly, or Gdzie Isc or Wspomnienie . If you like his vocal, you will def. enjoy! To be honest ,I think River, although great , doesn't really show Ochman's scale of voice.
