Thanks you for the reply. Yes I have gotten good results so far.
Good Video! I finally got my equipment to start my journey as a hobby and see where it goes!
looking forward to see how the machine does :)
You keeping 100 Tshirtchick, you are a blessing , I'm being doing research and was trying to find low price on someone doing this for me until I able to learn it myself , I didn't know that that exposure had registration mark to line up, now I wonder does them all have this , I'm still looking for your video on how used your favor paint and where buy them to keep cost low. Great video like always ......Keep them coming
Nice!! Thank you for the great review! Very awesome Great job by showing everything that comes with it. I just ordered one off Amazon just right now. It looks like a great size for my garage. Getting tired of having to go pay have someone to burn my screens.. thank you so much again!!!! ✌️️🤓🍻
You're welcome, Glad I could help. Thanks for watching!!
I was considering purchasing this for my classroom and your review settled my choice. Thanks.
You're welcome, Glad I could help!! I like it and will continue to use it until I can upgrade to a vacuum unit!
A few months ago, I bought a large vacuum unit off Amazon
www.amazon.com/Welljun-50cmx60cm-Precise-Exposure-Printing/dp/B01ALKJKNQ/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1491827231&sr=8-2&keywords=uv+vacuum+unit
But when I bought it, the price was $380, not $800. I have no idea why the price went up so much. For school, I am buying one like yours. Best.
I'm still using a five hundred watt work lite. one day...lol
Can u give me specifications of the lights used in the exposing unit please
I will leave the link for you so that you can see all the specifications amzn.to/2SvOs7I
Hi! we got one of these for our school and 2 of the lightbulbs burnt out- we can't figure out how to change the lightbulbs. Do you have a video on maintenance or could you tell us? Thank you!
I'm sorry I never had to change the bulbs and no longer own this unit. Sorry I couldn't be of any help
Have you reach out to the company? Or googled?
Great video. Do you still use the black exposure unit and has your opinion changed? Thanks for info 👍
Yes, I like it a lot. It pretty much does everything that I need and its a nice basic exposure unit. It's not super fast it takes me about 5 mins to expose a screen using ulano orange and QX-1 emulsion. The Top is heavy enough that you don't have to weigh it down for it to work properly. Hope this helps.
TshirtChick thank you for the response. I’m having a hard time finding the unit but 🤞
What emulsion are you using for 4:40 exposure time ?
I use Ulano Qx-1 but have been using 5:00 because I noticed some blue (emulsion) during washout and increasing the time seems to have helped. Thanks for watchng!
What's ur exposure time on this unit. I'm having trouble finding the right time when it comes to more then one color to print
Do you have the same unit as I do? For me its about 4:40 but yours could be different even with the same unit so you may have to do a few test burns.
I have one from ryonet same style like the one you have but a little bigger. I expose my for 5 min.
How long does it take you to expose one screen and how many minutes does it take you
It takes 5-7 mins to expose a screen. Your exposure time may be different depending on what emulsion you use, screen mesh, etc.
TshirtChick thanks I use the orange ulano emoulsion and it takes 6 minutes with the heat lamp, I just got a new unit and I’m bout to try the blue Ulano one like you use , and btw your videos are inspiring and a great help thank you so much
What size sceeens are these in this video please?
20x24
Where did you order that exposure light from
There's a link in the description of the video.
How much was it and where did you buy it
The link for it is in the description box below the video.
i need double sided uv exposure unit..
This one is only single sided. You may be able to google & find one that will suit your needs, I only have experience with single sided ones. Thank you for watching!
TshirtChick i know advanced organic synthetic chemistry. what is your photoresist chemicial. i saw your photoresist is negative photoresist. areas on silkscreen emulsion locks bonds which exposed to uv light. not exposed areas decays. i recommend you to use feteks.com product fotolack tr-88. please make a lookup on website feteks.com
Did you just plug it in and it turned on??
It has an on of switch on one the side opposite the power cord. Thanks for watching!
TshirtChick yea I just got and it doesn’t work . That’s why I asked.
I would contact the company it was purchased from ASAP and send it back. I haven't had any problems with mine and it works pretty good.
How long did it take to burn the screen?
It takes about 5 mins for 2 of the emulsions that I use and about 3.5 mins for a new one I recently tried.
@@TshirtChick awesome! thank you so much.
