Humans often tend to think of the present moment as something to get by without giving it so much of a thought, always waiting for that "perfect moment" when we'll be finally happy and enjoy it only to end up waiting for another prefect moment, and ultimately getting stuck in the ratcrace of constantly chasing after something that simply doesn't exist.
Your video reached me just when I needed it. I was experiencing frustration and burnout with my work - only minor, nothing serious - and watching your video gave me renewed energy and appreciation for this moment. I especially took note of your warning at 1:30 of avoiding the strong tendency that we often have of "sleepwalking through life". Since every moment is unique, and *never* to be repeated, it makes sense to give every moment our full attention and to appreciate it. And even if the moment is hard or painful, we can still learn from it, and use it to guide us in the future. This is very helpful. Dank U, Einzelganger, from Australia.
I love all your videos. Always waiting for the next one to be posted. Also, sometimes binge listen them as podcast. Please keep doing such thoughtful videos. They bring immense peace to me, whatever situation I am in. During a certain phase of my life, your videos brought absolute peace to my mind and changed my perspective significantly. I will always be indebted and grateful.
I totally agree with this! So many moments slip by when we’re lost in our heads. I’ve caught myself worrying about work while walking through a beautiful park, only to realize I missed the whole thing. It's like my mind was on autopilot. I once joined the Sense of Humor Improvement Program by Habit10x, and it reminded me how humor often thrives in being present-whether in a casual chat or a lighthearted moment. Remember, every interaction can be a chance to connect and find joy in the present. It’s about embracing the now!
This is one among the top videos you produced. My compliments. Japan is a great source for inspiration.I try to capture each moment of the day by writing in my diary before I go to bed. It makes you focus on good and bad things. It adds to your well being and you sleep better.
By valuing the present moment as a beautiful treasure, we can fully appreciate and enjoy life's experiences without being distracted by past regrets or future anxieties. Thanks!
Thank you so much for these videos and for introducing me to so many philosophical concepts. As a person who ruminates way to often, i seek the help of these concepts to help me ease My mind and live in the now, as Eckhard Tolle would say.
A man traveling across a field encountered a tiger. He fled, the tiger after him. Coming to a precipice, he caught hold of the root of a wild vine and swung himself down over the edge. The tiger sniffed at him from above. Trembling, the man looked down to where, far below, another tiger was waiting to eat him. Only the vine sustained him. Two mice, one white and one black, little by little started to gnaw away at the vine. The man saw a luscious strawberry near him. Grasping the vine with one hand, he plucked the strawberry with the other. How sweet it tasted! 🍓🍓🍓
sso happy you posted againnn!!!❤️ i need these videos dailyyy been ur subscriber for 2 years ur channel helped me so much and i might never be the person that i am now if i hadn't found your video about letting go, thankssss einzelganger🥺❤️
The narration of the story and reactions better than before. But I personally like the cartoon graphics than random people images. Nice work and content... I keep waiting for the weekly videos.
I needed to hear this so much at exactly this moment in time. Things haven't been going the way I need them to go, and I often find myself wanting to get out of this state as soon as possible. But in this chase for something different (or what I imagine to be better) I often overlook the positives of what I have now. :( it's hard to be in the present when the present isn't what you want.
What a coincidence! I have finished the book of Ichigo-Ichie that I just bought and now you have a video about it. Einzelgänger is truly a mind reader 🔥🔥! Thank you very much to the dedication for this video ❤️❤️.
That Shibuya footage with the recent construction is quiet recent. Either that's fresh stock footage or you went to Japan recently and quietly flexing the trip. ^_^
We all need to be wearing the ring with the inscription 'this to shall pass". I tell myself that often and recently conveyed that to a friend gloating about his side winning the election. His reply was " ye of little faith " so I don't think he got it. How difficult it is to simply pay attention to one's breath during the day.
The takoyaki moment in the story reminds me of Shinya Shokudo - The Midnight Diner. A Japanese manga and tv series with people eating their favorite foods which brings back memories of the past. Food connects us to the past and helps us enjoy the present, the Japanese totally understand this concept.

It’s fascinating how Japanese tea ceremonies hold so much meaning. Treating each gathering as a once-in-a-lifetime event makes every moment precious.
What you put meaning to has meaning.

so Nanami felt burn-out and stress before he rejoined as a jujutsu sorcerer, pretty much accurate to the lore.
Of course, this began with tea, one of my favorite parts of my day. It calms me, it uplifts me, if comforts me.
It is a once Ina lifetime experience to watch this videos in the morning before work! Thank you!!!❤
Thank you mate, this is exactly the message needed now, the visuals and references are amazing, thank you for the great work.

This is one of the most important, trascendental and profound truths in life. Present is everything, all there is. Everything else is noise.
