I ordered this bow for my son’s birthday. He has a Masters in Ancient History and focused on the Assyrian so I thought he would like it.

Yes folks. A shameless plug for my channel.
I have begun making Asian style bows here in England from Yew and I will be attempting other materials.
I started with European styles and this channel has inspired me to focus my efforts onto thumb shooters.
One day I would love to send one to be tested here.
    Many thanks Armin

      Ok then. Challenge on.
Let's get you a Maruki ASAP.
I have only made one so far but I feel this is good design to run with.
      I will keep you posted
Thank you so much for the message Armin.

You really like this thumb ring. I ordered me a couple different designs from CTR as well, always thought I'd prefer the Turkish style. But the Sarmatian is actually really really nice. The Chinese spur ring is also surprisingly an astoundingly well design.

Regarding brace height: the pictures on the official website makes it look like you got the correct string length. String bridges and string area looks exactly the same... I imagine the bow will straighten a tiny bit past resting position at the greatest moment of force when the bow snaps forward after release? Just a guess as to why...

Just for the sake of commentary: you still have problems to pronounce correctly the Hungarian “gy”. 😂

"Steel" is the metal. "Still" is the word in this context...

@ 🙏 Corrected. This is what happens when you only dictate to the machine, and afterwards you don’t check it.🥴
