Yeah, they only last 29,000 miles instead of 30,000. So many people like you think you're gonna burn through a set. even if you did it 100 times per week (doubt) the wear would be so minimal. Infact they did a study that a minute of highway driving is more damaging than a 90 degree turn doing this.

My old nova with three speed on the column could do that just because it had bald tires and no suspension so I was constantly in a skid whenever I drove it. I got very good at controlled skids.
It's quite bad for the tire degradation, but you'll use them heavily anyway with that torque..😅 Anyway, I see this with much more fondness than the rotating wheels on concept cars. In the long run, this will be cheaper. (If the axles can keep handling it over time) But just learn to parallel park people, it's not that hard. Start with some boxes if you like, and learn from the automated systems if you will. Get the right angle, don't turn the steering wheel slow but fast at the fixed points. It's not a smooth experience in a tight spot although it looks that way from the outside. It'll make your life that much easier already👍
