Today 2023 I was lucky to see BTO in my city Montréal Quebec Canada in 1975 every song everybody on their feet incredible heavy Rock sounds all night. I was 20 years old 🇨🇦⚙️🎸🥁🎼
I get so emotional hearing this it brings tears to my eyes listening to this in late 70s early 80s .and I'm only born in 1965 but I had older brothers .music was our life
In the 70's, there were so many great bands. But, with BTO they made the explosion of the mid 70's that much more exciting. Their concerts were so intense and exciting; never a dull moment, from start to finish, and loud and proud. I truly miss those days, where people went concerts to enjoy the music and each other, and no mobile phones!!!
My first rock album was the Four Wheel Drive by B.T.O at the age of 8. Scratched to hell and still have it. Another copy I have that was upgraded. They are in my opinion were a awesome Canadian band with a mixture of rhythm and blues mixed and rock. Just finished listening to all their hits. At 51 they still rock my house.
Saw this concert too, had some other good bands playing also, Steppenwolf, Canned Heat, five man electrical band, the turtles, Janis Joplin's band Big Brothers, and two or three others that I can't remember now. All Day concert ended around midnight
Seen these guys about around this time period in a small bar ( The Manor ) in Kingston Ontario , When they got done they walked off the stage right by everybody , I said to Randy , thanks for the great show , he gave me the head nod.. What a great memory..
thank you for posting this! lots of good memories! saw them in 77, and when they reunited on ny years eve in 1990 here. then saw when bachman and turner got together for a show here in 2010! wish it was a longer set as i'd love to have heard a few songs they played in 90 such as blue moaning, and take it like a man. so glad randy announced on his bachman and bachman channel that they have plans for more live stuff a box set, and the documentary. plus he recently he found the rest of japan tour concert 76 record to make it a double cd.of the full show.thanx again!
What a diamond! Amateur-Video was that bad, during the 1990--ies, but the pure preformance showed us, what brilliant and talented musicans they where, ... ! One of the best "live band's" at this time. It's a pitty, there is no 'official video' made in professional quality, ... ! This "bootleg-video" is more then gold! Thank you so much! You made my day! Saw a live video-stream of "Bachman & Bachman" (Randy B. and his son, Tal B.) two weeks ago, preforming old songs, not only from "BTO" and/or the "Gues Who", also from other artists. It was O. K. - But this video here, is even better! - Miles ahead! - Entusiastic preforming guy's ! - Something I missed for more than +40 years, ... ! Never had a chance to see "BTO" live!, ... ! (I was 15, when they doing there Europe-Tour, back in the 70-is!) If there is any additional or other video, please release it! - Please! -
I remember that Q107 Phychedelic Sunday festival, was an all day event, didn't care much for the other bands but really enjoyed the 2 headliners John K and Steppenwolf and BTO. Great memories, thanks for sharing.
I saw them live when they opened for Van Halen on the 5150 tour, man what a night that was. Saw Bto from like the 5th row cause the people with those seats didn't show up till BTO was almost done playing.
If you're interested, I've uploaded a few BTO/VH videos on my channel, on a playlist titled Evidence of Noise (I was playing drums with BTO on that tour)
Saw these guys open for Triumph in the 80s in Des Moines. I remember being blown away that they rocked hard and that I knew most of the songs they performed. Great show !
So glad to have found this. I was at this show and BTO was so good, as can be seen and heard in this video. Listen to Randy wail away in Blue Collar. Fantastic. The show was called Psychedelic Sunday and also featured Steppenwolf, Big Brother & The Holding Company, Canned Heat, Strawberry Alarm Clock and Flo & Eddie and perhaps some others. Thanks for posting! I would love to get a good quality DVD of this if possible, if anyone knows where to get one. Still have my ticket for this show.
@@darrenmillen2435 First you had to line up 1 hour to get tickets for the beer tent, then you had to line up to get the beer at the tent and you had to drink the beer in the tent. That was crappy.

Randy B, Fred, Robbie and Blair, the classic and best BTO lineup. Thanks for posting the video.

Saw them live in Germany Frankfurt 1973 thin lizzy coheadlined
Four-wheel drive and flat broke love, my 2 faves of this band. And c f turner sounds as good today as ever, one of the strongest voices ever.
Randy and Fred need one more run in 2021!
Robbie was one of the most under rated rock drummers ever.

I got to see them and REO Speedwagon in Shreveport Louisiana in 1974 along with Brownsville Station and it was awesome.
One of the best voices of the 70's❤
I always enjoyed Robbie's spirit and energy !
Glad to see this - they were the headliner and we had to leave early due to work the next day. I missed half of BTO.
At least you saw half!

Fred still had that voice in 2014!
But half of pounds...:-)
HOF: now!
The twinkie twins are on fire. pound for pound the best band ever.
