On 6th April 2024, I trainspotted at London Waterloo.
London Waterloo station is in London and it is a very large station. It is always very crowded too. Waterloo station is like Kings Cross, Liverpool Street, Victoria, Paddington, St Pancras International and some other stations. There are some shops here to but mainly food. London Waterloo is a very interesting railway station. Waterloo serves South Western Railway, Waterloo and City Line, Jubilee Line, Bakerloo Line and Northern Line trains. There are so many interchanges at this station. You will only see National Rail trains in this video which are the South Western Railway trains (SWR).
London Waterloo has a whopping 24 platforms. Fun fact: Waterloo is the station with the most amount of platforms in the whole UK. It is also the largest train station in the UK. The platform layout is great (especially for recording trains). Thanks to that, it makes it a lot easier if you want to record all of the trains at this station. Plus, there is an absolute chaos of trains here. The frequency of the trains are brilliant. I think that London Waterloo is a very nice train station.
I personally think that London Waterloo is an OUTSTANDING location to spot trains. This is because the platform layout is great, it is a really interesting station and the frequency of the trains is fantastic. Remember, this is all my own opinion of this.
Hello there, I hope you have enjoyed watching this video. Thanks for stopping by! Be cool! 😎
