Loving all the nitro buggy content. $400-$450 would seem like a more fair price for this one based on the amount of plastic.

They would have to move manufacturing to China to hit that price point unfortunately.

Will be interesting to see a real review of this buggy. Looking forward to your final verdict. And hopefully it can justify its pricetag. Looking forward to upcoming videos with this beauty 🙂

HPI is the brand I used in the 90s and I love all their Rc line. Ahhhh nitro buggies reminds me of my old lawnmower.
Its so messy and always need to fiddle around with

I have had the original vorza flux for years, it is a tank, I bash it as hard as my savage and it takes it. I hope these new ones are as tough

Very nice buggy, thanks for the info, sorry but I left a comment for you on your other video but it is more suited here. Trying to make a decision between this and the trophy, are any of the plastics on this buggy Aluminum in the trophy or are they all the same components in both? I thought the turnbuckles were adjustable on the trophy but on this one they are not?

Get this, it's way better and I think the Trophy was discontinued.

Kinda odd they didn’t use the D8 style filter. Could probably benefit from being replaced with a Tekno, TLR or Associated style air filter that moves it forward and low down

    • @RazorRC
      @RazorRC  Год назад

Thanks, yeah I’ll probably upgrade to the HB v2 filter.

watching aussie rcs review on the vorza truggy S it took a beating, so im very interested to see how this compares

I’d say the savage was the king. Then the vorza or truggy. You’ve got to include the 5b though.

@@Corhndog my savage from I believe 2005 never had a single issue. Neither did my savage 4.9 from 2009. They were perfect and bulletproof. You clearly didn’t read my comment properly because I said “was”.

The truggy version looks amazing but i already have the trophy truggy 4.6 nitro. So i cant see myself buy it. Maybe if i can get it cheap on a marketplace. But probably not that lucky again

In Europe HPI is very expensive, I do not know about US. This buggy is 739 Eur and you get a lot of plastic instead of aluminum. In comparison HoBao Hyper VS2 is about 563 Eur. I would really love to have Vorza Truggy, but the price is ridiculous 774 Eur in comparison HoBao Hyper SS Nitro Truggy is 465 Eur.

    • @AsraiForns

Where are you looking? Vorza Nitro is 469.99 GBP / 499.99 USD. Buying it from the UK maybe a better deal?

    • @AsraiForns

Modellbau Berlinski has it up for 470.55 EUR seems a similar price

It seems like the newer hpi stuff is not built the same.. like weaker plastic ...there older stuff was way more solid i.m.o.

Much better adjustable suspension on the trophy model and more aluminium components including the shocks . I think the Vorza is a downgrade.
