    That was fantastic to watch. The only things that bother me were that you were using the C6 corvette logo on the C5 and the intake manifold between the fuel rail covers is black not silver. Still looks good though.

    • @carculturenation2166
      @carculturenation2166 Год назад +1

      yeah intake was the one thing i noticed before it started. But if you are talk8ng modern corvette logos on a older corvette i see ppl do it all the time because they like the newer and sometimes older style so thats a pass. Now what i domt get is why he is so harsh on his small scale stuff that he has to rebuild it a day after buying and destroying it lololol

    The other day I came across a YT-channel dealing with fake restauration of watches and other expensive items. Kamasutra gives no explanation about the origin of these damaged models. For example well preserved Franklin Mint model cars in 1/24th scale are quite expensive. The prices are sometimes between 200 to 300 dollars. These are collector's items. You don't find them by rummaging through trash cans or during a walk in the park. Unfortunately he does not give any comment about the materials used to restore these items, so it is not helpful to people who want to restore a damaged model car themselves. I think these videos are just made to get some admiration ...

      @@gusbub13 Ever heared of fleamarkets?? I do buy a lot of damaged toys there and try to fix them up. But i agree some are to overly damaged. Last week i bought a box full at a charity shop,and i think i can fix only 10 from the more than 50 wich were in that box. But i don,t buy Spare parts. I try to find a second car of that model to swap the part. Replacing parts are to expensive for me as a retired disabled man in his 60,s. But it is very satisfying to get a car complete again.

      Yeah, I've heard of flea markets. Have you heard of passive-aggressive behavior?
      You said it yourself that these are beyond your average flea market shitpile. So, if you noticed it, why wouldn't I. We could've done without the snarky lead question, especially if you're going to apologetically soft pedal the answer to your own rhetorical question.
      Just call me a dick and be done with it.
