i think it looks great. my only suggestion would have been to add a water feature into the temple...i think that would have added to the ambiance a lot
Cristina Santiago yes like a fountain like right in front of the huge statue like falling down behind the statue like bot a fountain but a waterfall okay you know what im just gonna stop talking im probably annoying you bye😄❤❤
I think, you should’ve kept with the red rope in the treasure room. It’s “treasure” you don’t want sims touching them. You break you buy. It’s more like an auction place than retail.
would have loved if you kept the little cafe, I think there are those cute barista things that came with get together back then, as every museum I ever went to always had a little cafe. aaaaaaalso, maybe dim the lights a bit? the treasure room seems so well lit and it doesn’t seem to fit quite.
DreiGalaxy I like that idea, keep the it a museum and just add a gift shop then maybe the sims will use everything a little more rather than just flock to one spot.
With the hints of the old factory still there, it kind of makes me think that this might be a "travelling" exhibit. Like when this one booked by the museum in the next city, the museum will be redesigned for a new exhibit. Like from April-June it's Selvadoradan treasures, and then from July-September it will be gemstones, then maybe after that, vikings or shoes or dinosaurs...
My jaw hit the floor at what you were able to create using what you started out with. I've been keeping up with this series. You, sir, are an amazing architect.
I don't know if you saw it and just completely ignored it but I'm going to copy a comment I made on last video here lol "You should transform the basement is a sort of catacomb area by placing the skeleton statues, maybe the relics or something to give the whole building a more temple/tomb vibe."
Marta Alessi you're welcome! I wish he hadn't pre-recorded this one so he could've used all the cool ideas but it turned out pretty awesome anyway, and he can always add to it after all 😄 if he's willing to 😅
Very creative how this building has transformed from an art gallery to a night club, a restaurant and now a museum. Now I'm all caught up with the series so far and can jump back to Wags to Riches. 😎
SEMAJ I absolutely LIVE for the continuity in your let’s plays/speed builds. I love how the Bigwallets are still being integral parts of your new let’s plays and I love how the lineage continues and the original builds are being repurposed. It gives me life
For anyone looking for this build I painstakingly followed along using Jame's original emporium build and pieced this masterpiece together piece by piece. Took a couple years but the work was worth it. Just search Temple Museum on the gallery and you'll find it. Also this has to be one of the coolest builds in the sims 4 I know of to date so I hope my attempt at recreating it was satisfactory.
I'm like 5 years late but I would LOVE to see a themed Museum. I really liked this but I mean a museum with all the collectables in themed areas like Animal Crossing New Horizons. It would be amazing
I don't know if you are still doing challenges but an idea for one would be where each room of the house is a different colour. Say the kitchen is red, each item has to be red. (well, mostly red) The living room could be green (same rules) Unless something does not have the colour (say a tv) you can use another colour. Sorry if i made lots of spelling mistakes spellings not my jam
Aw man, there were so many good suggestions in the last video, I hate that you didn't get a chance to see them before doing the Reno (we didn't realize the Reno would be included in the pre-recorded bunch) but either way it turned out great 😊 very cool layout and such! Love it.
Ever since the last part of this series, I was really looking forward to a proper museum build video! I love this!!! I only wish there was either more light or more sunglight in the totem area. That would’ve definitely given it a huge wow factor, I feel!!
WOW! You really outdid yourself this time, James! You managed to create a really cool atmosphere in this reno. It almost reminded me of how when you walk through a detailed ride at Disney World, how the details make you feel like you're somewhere else. Well done!
It looks sooo amazing, I don't know how you do this, but every time I try to build something in The Sims, I blank out. I don't know what to put where and how. You're so cool Semaj!!!
I think you did a great job! I love that the original build is still there, but it's incredible how much detail and texture the new pieces can create. I think this lot is a bit niche to include in my game, but I can't wait to see it in the LP.
You shouldda added some water somewhere, like in the room to the giant statue you could've added a bunch of ivy and wall plants on the side with a water fountain or something. And then on the bottom you could add spotlights looking up to it.
I've been to poor to afford Sims 4 yet, have played many times though and everytime I use the building tools I have to get used to them again, and it's so good to see even James and deli and Lil simsie struggle with getting the room pieces correct because of how awkward they can be!!
*Two kind-of-suggestions, James!* The base game pedistals look a bit out of place with all the new jungle adventure stuff... and can you somehow magically fit a little shop somewhere?
Wow, that really did come out quite good! I like how you planned out the path to loop through the museum and take everybody on sort of a little "journey" through Selvadoradan culture and suchlike. It really does look awesome! I mean, shame the Sims don't appreciate it because of their pathfinding, but hey. XD It looks cool to us "upstairs," and that's the main thing. And yes, I do totally agree that the treasure plates look so much better scaled up. Said it before, but it bears repeating. I look forward to seeing the place in action! :)
You should put a bathroom and a little cafe in the basement then the sims have more reason to go down there. You can decorate with the relics that you put back in your inventory. Also if you put the music back at the top of the double stairs the sims will be more likely to walk up there.
Don't know why but with all the Jungle-Foreign-Japanese staff lately and the thermal pool...I think thermal Japanese style but also modern spa is a challenging idea for community lot.
First off, you are by far my favorite simmer. Your builds absolutely amaze me! Second, maybe you’ve answered this before but what are you using to play sims on? Home computer or laptop? Do you have any suggestions on what laptop would be best to play sims on? I need a new one because mine is completely dead now and quite old and the last time I played sims on it-it was so laggy and slow. I need some tips on what to look for in laptops for a quick, smooth, and beautiful gameplay. Sorry for the long comment, I know it’s a long shot to get a reply but worth a shot 😅 Anywho, you’re great! 😊
What about a build where for each room you choose one item you absolutely hate and never use in colors you would never pick, and then try to match the rooms around it's hated item? Perhaps find a handful of these kinds of items beforehand and then build the house before deciding which item goes to what room so you're not choosing your most disliked bathroom item and your most disliked bedroom item specifically.
Why not delete the "Exit" door back into the foyer that way if sims want to get to the expensive room they HAVE to walk though everything? Or have a door there but put stuff in front of it so it doesn't actually work. That's what I would do If I wanted sims to walk through the entire thing.
Nice build, as usual! :p Once I have this pack, I'm looking forward to combining the jungle style with the Spa Day pack and I hope they'll come out with some other ancient themes in an update (British, Egyptian and Mediterranean would be nice).
Could you please build a museum to replace the one in Selvadodada? I love your builds!! Oh, could you rebuild the Deadgrass Discoveries Museum in Brindleton Bay?
Someone suggested this on the last part but you should put the relics in a 'store room' in the basement as they're far too dangerous to be on display!!
Hi James! New subscriber here, I absolutely love your builds, I've been looking and I don't see anything on NewCrest so I'm not sure if I missed it, but I would LOVE to see a building NewCrest series from you!!
i think it looks great. my only suggestion would have been to add a water feature into the temple...i think that would have added to the ambiance a lot
I was just thinking that! A waterfall just behind the big statue would have been really cool! I love it anyway!
Cristina Santiago yes like a fountain like right in front of the huge statue like falling down behind the statue like bot a fountain but a waterfall okay you know what im just gonna stop talking im probably annoying you bye😄❤❤
I was thinking that too!
Wow it looks awesome! This building is so versatile.. art gallery, night club, restaurant now a museum, all from an old factory look 👍🏻
I think, you should’ve kept with the red rope in the treasure room. It’s “treasure” you don’t want sims touching them. You break you buy. It’s more like an auction place than retail.
Am I the only one that thinks watching speed builds is satisfying?
They're my favorite things, especially by Semaj.. :3
especially with a good voiceover
I like them too, when they are good builds, which his are.
Riley Millsap would they get so many views if you were? I love James' speed builds.
Tbh (ik it's weird but) from time to time I listen to Semaj's speed build to put me to sleep. Somehow it's soothing.
would have loved if you kept the little cafe, I think there are those cute barista things that came with get together back then, as every museum I ever went to always had a little cafe. aaaaaaalso, maybe dim the lights a bit? the treasure room seems so well lit and it doesn’t seem to fit quite.
the emporium changed so many times for so many let's plays, it's amazing :D
HAVE A GIFT SHOP IN THE MUSUEM --- so that at end of their visit, they are free to buy & u get money hehehe
DreiGalaxy I like that idea, keep the it a museum and just add a gift shop then maybe the sims will use everything a little more rather than just flock to one spot.
This Emporium is so iconic that I think you need to make buying the Emporium and renovating it as one of the 'Rags to Riches' Series' Main Quest.
I think it already is. He's done that as the final challenge in every rags to riches since the first one.
Not gonna lie, James’s building videos always amaze me :) ❤️
With the hints of the old factory still there, it kind of makes me think that this might be a "travelling" exhibit.
Katrina Bigwallet’s Moooooseum
Your commentary is super calming.
Calmentary
I’m glad you did this in a speed build instead of it been in the let’s play, it’s so relaxing watching the speed builds.
Well it’s a make over. But same thing
I don't know if you saw it and just completely ignored it but I'm going to copy a comment I made on last video here lol
"You should transform the basement is a sort of catacomb area by placing the skeleton statues, maybe the relics or something to give the whole building a more temple/tomb vibe."
Marta Alessi he pre-recorded the last like 3 jungle adventure videos, so he never saw comments on the previous video before recording this one.
AssaultedPeanutt thank you, I didn’t know that. 👍🏻
Marta Alessi you're welcome! I wish he hadn't pre-recorded this one so he could've used all the cool ideas but it turned out pretty awesome anyway, and he can always add to it after all 😄 if he's willing to 😅
AssaultedPeanutt let’s hope he does! The build is amazing but I’ve read some really good suggestions that will make it even better
Marta Alessi yeah same here, there were some great ones including yours! I remember seeing yours 😄
I'd also suggest putting the treasure room upstairs if the sims are drawn to the highest value items, it'll draw them through more of the place.
Very creative how this building has transformed from an art gallery to a night club, a restaurant and now a museum. Now I'm all caught up with the series so far and can jump back to Wags to Riches. 😎
This is an awesome renovation of Bigwallets Emporium. I’ve watched all of your Rags To Riches and this is so fitting for Katrina.
It's amazing how many things that building has become since Lady had it.
This looks sooo awesome. It's really giving the temple vibe mixed with a museum vibe! *Awesomely unique* build.
SEMAJ I absolutely LIVE for the continuity in your let’s plays/speed builds. I love how the Bigwallets are still being integral parts of your new let’s plays and I love how the lineage continues and the original builds are being repurposed. It gives me life
You could get rid of the door from the cashier to the treasure room so there is only one way in and out.
You've really outdone yourself with this one - it looks amazing!!
For anyone looking for this build I painstakingly followed along using Jame's original emporium build and pieced this masterpiece together piece by piece. Took a couple years but the work was worth it. Just search Temple Museum on the gallery and you'll find it. Maybe you could add a cool water feature/fountain section, resonating with the flirty waterfall in Selverdorada? (How tf do you spell that)
This looks so good! Dang, Semaj
It really looks like a museum that i'd like to spend the entire day in, i loved the details. Great video James! :-)
The large totem reminds me of the museum from my home town. It has 2 giant native totems like that going through 3 stories.
I'm like 5 years late but I would LOVE to see a themed Museum. I really liked this but I mean a museum with all the collectables in themed areas like Animal Crossing New Horizons. It would be amazing
This looks so good, James! I love the little details everywhere, it's very authentic. I hope you're enjoying Disney World ❤️
I don't know if you are still doing challenges but an idea for one would be where each room of the house is a different colour.
Say the kitchen is red, each item has to be red. (well, mostly red) The living room could be green (same rules) Unless something does not have the colour (say a tv) you can use another colour.

The sims building force is with you
Ever since the last part of this series, I was really looking forward to a proper museum build video! I love this!!! I only wish there was either more light or more sunglight in the totem area. That would’ve definitely given it a huge wow factor, I feel!!
Oh my gosh James...this is incredible!
WOW! You really outdid yourself this time, James! You managed to create a really cool atmosphere in this reno. It almost reminded me of how when you walk through a detailed ride at Disney World, how the details make you feel like you're somewhere else. Well done!
Always amazes me the sense of placement you have. I tried my own vet clinic build and it was just a giant square
It looks sooo amazing, I don't know how you do this, but every time I try to build something in The Sims, I blank out. I don't know what to put where and how. You're so cool Semaj!!!
love your videos, your my favorite simmer and always give me great inspiration for my own builds.
I think you did a great job! I love that the original build is still there, but it's incredible how much detail and texture the new pieces can create. I think this lot is a bit niche to include in my game, but I can't wait to see it in the LP.
Great rebuild.
Love the details.
Those tiles around the pillars and the facade, super good.
You shouldda added some water somewhere, like in the room to the giant statue you could've added a bunch of ivy and wall plants on the side with a water fountain or something. And then on the bottom you could add spotlights looking up to it.

Very cool. The big pillar is giving me 'Temple of Dendur' vibes.
*Two kind-of-suggestions, James!*
The base game pedistals look a bit out of place with all the new jungle adventure stuff... and can you somehow magically fit a little shop somewhere?
You furnished this so well and I love the layout. Awesome!
I've always been a huge fan of your builds but this is way better than what I pictured, it's saaweeeet
I think this may be my favorite tging you've ever done
Hey James! Since you're back, please don't forget to upload it to the gallery :)
OMG James, this build was AMAZING !!! =DDDDDDD
That thumbnail, James! Sexy build indeed. ❤😉
would love to see more commercial/non-residential build from you, James!
I’m obsessed with your videos! I was late to class this morning because I was watching them 😂
Totally awesome! Love this (re) build! My only suggestion would be maybe some type of signage in from of the building?
Wow, that really did come out quite good! I like how you planned out the path to loop through the museum and take everybody on sort of a little "journey" through Selvadoradan culture and suchlike. It really does look awesome! I mean, shame the Sims don't appreciate it because of their pathfinding, but hey. XD It looks cool to us "upstairs," and that's the main thing. And yes, I do totally agree that the treasure plates look so much better scaled up. Said it before, but it bears repeating. I look forward to seeing the place in action! :)
the Royal Ontario Museum in Toronto has a totem that goes up a few floors similar to this, I think museum design is your weird hidden talent
You should put a bathroom and a little cafe in the basement then the sims have more reason to go down there. You can decorate with the relics that you put back in your inventory. Also if you put the music back at the top of the double stairs the sims will be more likely to walk up there.
The decorations are awesome but the layout was a choice
I absolutely love watching your video's especially your speed builds. Also I really want to get into deli's speed builds but I can't keep up. Lol.
I love that Jungle adventure recently came out because the new movie Tomb Raiders came out and it's all about Lara Croft and temples and stuff
The video I have waited for since this series started
Have you ever done a nuclear bunker kind of thing? Would be cool to see. Everything super practical and stuff
Don't know why but with all the Jungle-Foreign-Japanese staff lately and the thermal pool...I think thermal Japanese style but also modern spa is a challenging idea for community lot.
Hey James for the exit door maybe you can lock it and only allow your sim to exit or dont put a door in at all
First off, you are by far my favorite simmer. Your builds absolutely amaze me!
Second, maybe you’ve answered this before but what are you using to play sims on? Home computer or laptop? Do you have any suggestions on what laptop would be best to play sims on? Sorry for the long comment, I know it’s a long shot to get a reply but worth a shot 😅 Anywho, you’re great! 😊
did you remember to upload it to the gallery?
This is actually so beautiful ❤️️ Build mode goals 😂
you should add a gift shop!
The whole one-way-flow makes me think of a Ripley's Believe It Or Not!
I love a renovation!
this is an amazing build and i want to visit this place IRL now
Wow this is another beautiful build...You are so mega talented.... I think EA should give you a job...
Love the renovation of this. Great work can't wait to download it!
James! have an Awesome Good Friday and enjoy the Good Friday Appeal!
Happy Easter!
Wow James that was incredible, excellent work xoxo
RIP Bigwallet Emporium. You will forever be in our hearts...
It looks amazing! I love this let's play :) I love how you did this too. I was hoping for it to come soon and then here it is :)
That is actually really great James! I aspire to be this dedicated in building things :(
I was so excited for this speed build, you killed it semaj
James! I've had an idea... Build a Jungle Temple Penthouse. It could be awesome!
What you could have done is put in a little cafeteria and gift shop, lots of museums have at least a gift shop in real life. Also an office
Why not delete the "Exit" door back into the foyer that way if sims want to get to the expensive room they HAVE to walk though everything? Or have a door there but put stuff in front of it so it doesn't actually work. That's what I would do If I wanted sims to walk through the entire thing.
A great gatsby type house would be pretty cool!
Nice build, as usual! :p
Once I have this pack, I'm looking forward to combining the jungle style with the Spa Day pack and I hope they'll come out with some other ancient themes in an update (British, Egyptian and Mediterranean would be nice).
Could you please build a museum to replace the one in Selvadodada? I love your builds!! Oh, could you rebuild the Deadgrass Discoveries Museum in Brindleton Bay?
How fun would a haunted house build be. Cmon vote up make it happen.
Someone suggested this on the last part but you should put the relics in a 'store room' in the basement as they're far too dangerous to be on display!!
Hi James! New subscriber here, I absolutely love your builds, I've been looking and I don't see anything on NewCrest so I'm not sure if I missed it, but I would LOVE to see a building NewCrest series from you!!
this is so friccin cool omg
This is such an awesome build, its so cool.
This looks amazing! If this was a real museum I would go there.
OMG IT'S FLIPPIDTY gippet no no sir flablinki like rifki I came up with it when I was 10 haha
I watched the original Lady BigWallet series when it was like a year old!
This should retitled as ‘renovation in just under 30,000 simoleoms’
Uploading while I was sleeping in I see. Darn semaj!!
This is so good, and inspiring, as usual!
When will this be available for download? I need this in my collection! Amazing work!!
More and more in love ❤ with your build videos James :)
Very cool but wish there were more screenshot so I could get to know the building better. Guess I’ll have to watch some of your let’s play now ;D
