Hahaha it's a barge. We've got one where I row. It's really nice because it allows a coach to take out twice as many rowers and it allows the rowers to focus on their technique while on the water without having to worry about setting the boat.
lots of junior rowing coaches could take a lesson from this guys teaching technique for novices. he did it all SO quickly and explained it all SO well and thoroughly
60-70 percent walk-ons. That's pretty remarkable, especially when compared to schools like Washington or Cal. Those programs recruit overseas. Might have something to do with their rankings year in and year out.
how updated has rowing got, i learnt to row in a 44 kg double lol and our club only had 2 ergs at the time i dont even think our top athletes have these resources and im from New Zealand btw
"looking forward to trying something new" HAHAHA you can't even get into BU's rowing program unless you're 6'4" and have been rowing for at least all of high school.

The first couple of weeks are a joke in difficulty. Try winter season and then you can tell me you know the difficulty of rowing :-P
I'm a rower, just i have never seen anything like that in Australia where i live
