Always thought about retro-fitting an old bus into an RV/camper. Now I'm too old to keep up w/ the maintenance, let alone refurbishing. The body just doesn't do what it used to do and one shoulder is giving out, so that will remain a dream.
I absolutely love the throaty sound of the old Detroit Diesel coaches. Ultimately I would want you to look it over , do you know any people wanting to sell, a really nice one, no rush
If you don't have the over the road A/C and the blowers, just use two size 31 batteries to start-I have that and they start a 8V-71 very well plus they don't weigh 160lbs ea
So I'm trying to figure out what you do for a living here?... Just finding busses to fix up and need help? I wish someone like you was around here to give my bus a once over. Only big city bus shops.
Himmelberger Bus yes I travel around in my silversides working on vintage buses. I’m based out of Indy but travel all around the us working. I’m in Iowa now headed to mn next. Busgreasemonkey.com
I emailed scott@busgreasemonkey.com for an invite to the forum (Is that you?) If you find yourself in the Minneapolis area stop out. Shawn@himmdesign.com is email for me.

Great thing to do. I'm hot-rodding a 48 Brill if you get near Texas. Love a good bus story. steve.belsky@gmail.com
Anyone hazard a guess what year this 4106 is?
Do you have an opinion on converting old Detroit diesels to compressed natural gas, such as CNG Edge channel on youtube?
No, I don’t know anything about that, but i do run propane injection on mine.

I wouldn’t touch a cng vehicle with a 10’ pole. Been a couple that burned while in shops within 50 miles
Esse ônibus lembrar muito o Dinossauro / Flecha azul com mecânica Scania. Rodaram aqui no Brasil. Fizeram muito sucesso.
