Hey Mr Monkey, You are a true hero! Not only have you ultimately saved the lives of this couple, but possibly many more! The old man driving has some mad skills also! Thank you for your bus repair knowledge!
I took out a 8v71 and installed an 8v92 in one of these ,converted into a mobile camper. Quite luxurious. Big shower, bed and kitchen / living room. They traveled from Alaska to Southern states for years. Both Vietnam vets, hisband abd wife . Awsome nice couple 💑 👌.
Gotta love that classic MC-9 brake pedal release sound. Working @Greyhound in the mid to late nineties gave me the chance to hear it 5-6 days a week. Oh the memories…🚌💯
Like #563. WoW, that is probably one of the most smooth quiet running test drives ive seen on your channel. That transmission whine or whatever that "whine" is, following engine speed, takes me back to riding on the Hound back in the late 70's.
Looks like artwork on that rock face out front. Such a smooth ride there was a lot long with that bus. That could have been a tragedy. Great job bus Grease Monkey and team. You sure have from changing a head out on the sidewalk LOL. What you're doing is really awesome and I'm glad to see the positive in your life.
It really surprises me the number of your clients that have air brake failures. The number of folks that don’t appear to know they have problems is scary. Thanks for sharing your videos with us. You do a great job with them.
The problem is the RV industry got an exemption to the existing laws for the commercial industry and it's actually made the RV tourism dangerous cuz they don't understand how to do a leak down test
Thanks for sharing that tip to the driver about the Hepvo valve. I'd never heard of that product but will be researching it looking into installing them into my airstream. Also, great fall ride with the leaves; beautiful. I like seeing the leaves, but not raking them up.
I use your youtube videos as my white noise to help me sleep at night. also I am autistic. i like 15 passenger vans, and Airbus A321 aircraft as a hobby. i also like Yamaha stereo equipment.
Omg thank you so much for posting this. I love these old MCI motor coaches. The ones today are awesome too but any old one like this one rocks. I also noticed the two you pass as you were exiting I hope you do videos on those too. Brings back childhood memories riding in these going to events like amusement parks city theater shows etc. I had a toy Greyhound Bus in this motor. Do you use these buses for anything or just collect and use them for shows ?
It depends on the State you are in and if the law is enforced. It's like Ape Hanger handlebars on motorcycles. Most States have laws prohibiting them but no one enforce those laws.
Wow what is that steering ratio looks horrible to me, driven buses for 30 years lot's of sawing on that wheel.I have lost a few brake diaphragm's during that time over the years never drove one once it blew I tied it up and wrecker was sent out.
do you not have test centres in US to find out if your vechile is fit for the road each year. if it fails you cannot drive the vechile until its fixed.
@@asarand l'm in Georgia. No inspection here. Just check exhaust for excess pollution. When I lived in New Jersey, there was an annual full vehicle inspection. Same for New York and Pennsylvania.
North Carolina requires a safety inspection. Not as stringent as a DOT inspection. The stupid thing is that I can do the DOT inspection myself and still get my tags.

To me, this bus has the best exterior shape and paint job of all the buses you've serviced. But that's just my opinion.
This one is a really nice bus! I would agree with ya on this one!!
I agree completely. The wheels.. super shiny. The paint. Perfect. This is by a long way better looking then any mci I've seen.

Listening to that 6V92 sing...music to my ears. Plus that foot brake release sound brings me back to my childhood riding the dog🙂
Oh Yes! That Brake Release Sound Is A Greyhound Staple! 😂🚌🗣💯
I drove the MC9 and MC12 at Greyhound
Motor coach is now owned by New Flyer. Good work Scott and Tyler on this beauty.
THAT IS A PRETTY BUS,,, YAUL DID A GOOD JOB ON IT TOO.
You are correct. You and your family have come a long way. Sure makes this channel interesting.
That looked like a smoother ride than a lot of new coaches. A nice smooth gear change as well.
Gorgeous bus. So impressed with your work. Absolutely no doubt that the work you and Tyler do is second to no one. The Fall colors are so beautiful.
I just wanted to say that I really really enjoyed the live band in your garage.
Beautiful bus.
Very smooth and quiet!

What an awesome amazing looking bus you are very lucky owners.
Safe travels.
✌🏻 Peace.
That beau7bus is now safer to go down the hi ways than it’s been in a long time. Great work!

Most of them seem to be relatively new coach owners. They might think something that big an heavy cannot be expected to stop very well.

@@leor838 most probably don’t know or understand how to perform the required tests.
That was the essence of my post the industry should not have lobbied for an exemption for the RV. A 30 thousand-pound missile is a 30000 lb missile
A damn good bus, I worked on a lot of them back in the 80’s at Trailways in Charlotte.

you made this bus safe // so many more to fix right //go go
Very Nice 👍
Thats a big Yacht that can carry a Sprinter van as a shore vehicle. 😁😁
A lot less money spent at this garage than out on the road!!! good job at preventive work fall is so beautiful in that part of the country!!

Scott I love your videos it inspires me to get back on the road ❤️
You need a "Wall of Pride" with pics of all the busses you've worked on!
I think your viewers all know the bus test route by heart now! SO many buses made safe, keep up the good work!
Oh, LAWD! Ha Mercy! That is a BEAUTIFUL sounding coach! :-D Great job Scott!
I couldn’t help but notice that maybe they are from Ohio or at least Ohio State fans. What a fantastic bus!
First driver you didn’t warn about the rock sticking out.
Scott, you need to come up with a name for your place. You have come a long way.
Congratulations,
Lee

That really is a very nice bus,,very quiet and seems to run fantastic,,nice and quiet inside,,,,no rattles 🇺🇸🇺🇸😍
The galley design looks like it originated on a boat. I like it!
What a blessing you are to the bus owners.
What abeautiful.coach.
Happy to see you were able to make yhis bus soooo much safer.
Boah, I did fall in Love with this Bus!
Beautiful coach!
Mci is a nice bus...good job scott.
Beautiful country !
Great glad to see the test drive.
lmaooooo i remember when scott had that same p-trap conversation with me 🤣right at the same light 😂
this is an absolutely beautiful bus.
Beautiful bus
I can tell it was a nice ride lookin at my TV screen smooth beautiful coach. BGM SAFETY ✔
Awesome work.
Gotta love the Crusader II motorcoaches! Good video! I click the thumbs up and subscribe to your channel 🤩😍💖♥️💗🚌🚌🙏!

A converted sprinter can go for 150-200K depending, it's crazy
C O L A test, cut in, cut out, low air, applied! part of Commercial Vehicle Pre Trip Inspection😉.
Could an RV P-trap be built for to be much taller than a house P-trap that would not let the water slosh out?
What a beautiful bus 😎

Tarık tunç ♥️🥰🇹🇷 canlı müzik
This coach is so quiet that I am missing the symphony from the rear.
Lovely bus. Thank goodness he came to you for a lube job. Now he is riding in a safe bus he can enjoy trouble free miles.
I'm looking at an MCI,43 foot bus right now to buy...thinking about it,,any advice on what to look for as far as issues.. thanks
I have seen a number of your clients with spinners on the steering wheel - I thought they were prohibited ??
Every owner I ever drove for demanded their removal if a driver installed one.
It depends on the State you are in and if the law is enforced. It's like Ape Hanger handlebars on motorcycles. Most States have laws prohibiting them but no one enforce those laws.
No longer illegal. Yes they use to be.
Sure. Best one when insurance company use it as excuse. They could.
@@dbmurray0924 they still are illegal in Alabama but they don't enforce it.
Rather stoic owner I must say.

Got Dang that is a sexy bus...
anybody in Centerville ever comment on the increase in bus traffic in the town? .
Every MC-9 I ever drove had wonderful power steering. I don’t understand why the owner of this bus felt it was necessary to install a brodie knob.
Hey! Great job! Has Tyler gotten anymore done on his interior?
Yes he has

Owners should know how to periodically inspect their coaches.
thinking it's the quietest bus on your test drives.....no chassis noise whatsoever......
