We're Cherie & Chris and we've been full time technomads since 2006. We are owned by Kiki (meow).
We have a fleet of nomadic vessels that we split our time between - a 1961 GM 4106 vintage bus, a 1999 Bayliner 4788 motor yacht and a 2016 Travato 59G van conversion. You'll find RV, van and boat life content here, as we feel inspired to share - sometimes topical, sometimes travelogues, sometimes just hanging out.
We love sharing a slice of our life with others, and also blog at www.technomadia.com, Facebook and Instagram. We use the name 'Technomadia' in all those places. Come join the adventure however you choose!
Income generation is NOT a goal of ours under the 'Technomadia' brand - we do this for fun. While not an expectation, sharing the love back sure keep us inspired to keep sharing. Ways you can say thanks here: www.technomadia.com/thanks (but honestly, leaving comments is awesome!)
Our full time 'job' is running the Mobile Internet Resource Center, where we track and educate RVers and cruisers on their options for keeping connected. Come join us at www.MobileInternetInfo.com for news, guides, reviews and courses. We also have a dedicated RUclips channel / mobileinternetresource... you can subscribe to. Through member funding, we can give away a lot of free content - and our members get even more.

Thanks for the tour of your home. I couldn’t help but think that in 1961, the designer/engineers could have never dreamed of the technology you’ve installed. Awesome floor plan too!

Cool! Thank you! Very envious of the size of your tanks (and/or your ability to economize on their use). :-) Safe travels!

Thanks guys, I especially like the lighter woodwork as opposed to the gray, mocha, slate, ebony whatever they're calling the dark stuff they're putting in coaches today. Fortunately I found a coach with glazed maple woodwork which is just fine with me.

Zephyr is how I ran across you guys. Saw it at the new campground at Myakka River State Park quite a few years ago and got all excited about another vintage bus! You don't see that many of them any more. (Just scored 2 weeks in the newer part at Myakka next December!)

Cheri, this video tour is awesome! When Reagan and I came to visit, we got to see the living space, and learning you pulled out the stove is an inspiration. BTW, I have to tell you yet again, the opening segment and music is wonderful, and really provides a great lead-in to your main stories. Thank you both for sharing your travels and adventures. Oh, btw, I got my Starlink dish this week, and will be putting it up probably this weekend. I'll let you know how it works over on the East Central Florida coast.

I thought I would try the RV life.... I subbed your channel and a few more. explored the idea.... I got a Great deal on a 1994 Winnebego Vectra 35 ft, single axel, Alison Six Speed (amazing trans) and a 5.9 Cummins, turbo, waste gate, intercooled, jake brake, AC in basement, nice tires, 67K miles. $900!! But I had to do work:: 40 hours to resolder 40 wires that rats chewed thru!! $700 to fix the computer shifter. But $1500 and 150 hours later and I had a decent rig. So, it's all fixed up, I drive it 3 miles down the road, I'm coasting down hill at 15mph and a rock kicks up and breaks off the Water/Fuel separator. Happily I had a friend following me. But it was 14 hours to fix the broken pipe!! This proved to me that I Must tow a car. And I was in the sierra mountains and this incident would have cost a small fortune if I hadn't fixed it myself. Parts were $5, it was the TIME. I was traumatized. My cats were traumatized too!🙀. So, I calmed down, drove it to an RV park near the San Joaquin River and went to detailing it. Lived in it for 2 years. But I decided I didn't want to be 60 feet long. So I sold it. There is nothing like that 6 speed Alison and 5.9 Cummins. That's an Excellent combination. And the Vectra was all oak, no crappy particle board. It cost $115,000 in 1994. So $2500 was a nice deal...... Ebay seems to show a vectra diesel in the $15=20K range, pretty cheap, and . those diesels get WAY better mileage than a gas engine. If you want to live the traveling RV life I Strongly suggest you go diesel

Zephyr is diesel... everything that is under constant earthquake conditions will need maintenance and repair. Just the nature of the lifestyle.

I love your bus, and being a grandparent I would have kept the booth, but you guys made it your own with a work station for probably very little expense. I just found a 64, almost the same paint scheme as yours, it does have an ugly cap on the back which I would probably take off, and do something a little differently there. It does have the 8V71 and auto, and does run, but the inside needs a lot of love, if I can get it right, I may jump on it, it would be way cheaper to remodel than do a whole conversion on a seated bus, which I have found a couple of those too, they are 4104s, and I do like them, but automatic is the way to go. Do you guys travel mountain passes in your bus, what is that like from a saftey point of view? We love going to Colorado.
