    Great info on creating custom length cords. Will look into that for next time. But, I came here to see how plug connections were handled. Looks like you don't use electrical tape or other implements to weatherproof plug connections. Just connecting the plugs and leaving them exposed to elements works?

      Also have this question. Seems like water would get into the lamp cord plugs and short out the whole thing.
