I’ve seen and heard interviews from his previous staff, and the general consensus is they were afraid. 3 of them have mentioned they had children and were terrified to go against Trump while employed near his orbit. Some of them were probably brainwashed at the time, or didn’t want to lose their incomes. Also some of the info has been out for years, just not publicized to a large audience.
