I always tell my granddaughter, "When you stop silver on top." so that the needle is in the highest position and will engage properly with the needle threader. Thank you for another great video.
Your voice is so soothing. Thank you because I’m ready to office space this machine in a field somewhere. Anyway I’ll go back and try again. See you soon.
I have 4 daughters, two of them are into sewing (14 and 16 years old) and my little one turns 7 this Friday and I’m getting her this sewing machine so she can start learning. Thanks for the video
It's correct that the foot should ALWAYS be up when threading any sewing machine, whether manually or automatically. The tension disks open when the foot is up. This allows the thread to flow properly through those tension disks.
Hi there, I am using Bernette 66. Recently I found my automatic threader is not working suddenly. I found your video about it, as we are using the different machines, am not sure how to fix mine. First, I put the foot up and pull the automatic threader down, it can’t go full down, it stucked there because the foot. Second, although I took all the foot off, but the little hook didn’t go full into the needle, so I gave a little help/push. But still the thread didn’t go into the needle. It kind of stucked and couldn’t move smoothly back to it position up. Maybe I need to give some oil or any idea? Thanks for any tips and advice. 😊

Could not figure it out until your video. Thank you
Glad you’re now able to figure it out. 😊
