Thank you so much for posting this detail all those years ago (6)! My aunt passed down an embroidery machine that has an automatic threader. I tried it and it wouldn't work, and I watched a lot of videos that either didn't go into this much detail, or would talk about the parts but didn't show them up close. Your video was perfectly what I needed and I just successfully threaded my needle automatically. THANK YOU!!!

Thank you for such a clear video that explains everything, especially how get access to the threader (turning the machine off at the right time).

I am so grateful for this video. There is a six week wait to take a machine in for service and you allowed me to fix my needle threader myself. Thanks so much.

Mine was out of commission for 6 months! Couldn’t afford a service fee to repair. This video explained and demonstrated so well that I also was able to fix it myself. I echo all the Thank Yous!

Wow, I was able to see my little threader hook, adjusted it slightly.... wasn't even sure if I had really done anything....but it worked! Thanks so much.

Thank you so much for this precise, short video. I was able to fix my needle threader by using your technique. After my last embroidery piece and manually threading 31 times, I was ready to give up embroidery all together. Thank you so much for making it a pleasant experience again.

Thank you for explaining the mechanics of how to fix a threader. My machine is a Brother Innovis A80 and I didn’t want to remove the threader unit so I wedged my threader lever halfway first. Then I was able to bend the tiny threader hook back into shape (the way you showed in your video) using a spare needle/seam ripper combo on my second attempt. Once it was explained that ‘automatic threader’ is only a mechanical action, I persevered in finding a tutorial and this is the best!

My threader quit working months ago. I’m in the middle of a huge project and didn’t want to take my machine to repair shop and be without it. I had it fixed within a minute if watching your video.

My husband was able to follow this although he didn't remove the mechanism. Although this wasn't a critical need for me as I can thread the needle myself manually, he thought we were going to have to haul the heavy Baby Lock Solaris in for a repair. Thank you so much Mr. Lord for providing this tutorial.

One question... the "little wire" that you put back into position.... what the heck is it, what is its position? My threader is working properly, but the wire just kinda hangs out and does nothing (like a teenager). Does it even have a function, or do I just wait for it to give me grandchildren and become useful to someone else?
