Thank you so much for posting this detail all those years ago (6)! My aunt passed down an embroidery machine that has an automatic threader. I tried it and it wouldn't work, and I watched a lot of videos that either didn't go into this much detail, or would talk about the parts but didn't show them up close. Your video was perfectly what I needed and I just successfully threaded my needle automatically. THANK YOU!!!
I am so grateful for this video. There is a six week wait to take a machine in for service and you allowed me to fix my needle threader myself. Thanks so much.
Mine was out of commission for 6 months! Couldn’t afford a service fee to repair. This video explained and demonstrated so well that I also was able to fix it myself. I echo all the Thank Yous!
Wow, I was able to see my little threader hook, adjusted it slightly.... wasn't even sure if I had really done anything....but it worked! Thanks so much.
Thank you! I was able to fix my threader myself! I shut off machine when the threader came down and fixed it. So grateful for you showing us how we can fix a small little problem that could take weeks for shop to fix. Thank you
I echo all the comments below when I tell you how much I appreciate your excellent video. Between my wife and I, we managed to get her machine threading for the first time in a long time!
Thank you so much for this precise, short video. I was able to fix my needle threader by using your technique. After my last embroidery piece and manually threading 31 times, I was ready to give up embroidery all together. Thank you so much for making it a pleasant experience again.
Thank you for explaining the mechanics of how to fix a threader. My machine is a Brother Innovis A80 and I didn’t want to remove the threader unit so I wedged my threader lever halfway first. Then I was able to bend the tiny threader hook back into shape (the way you showed in your video) using a spare needle/seam ripper combo on my second attempt. Once it was explained that ‘automatic threader’ is only a mechanical action, I persevered in finding a tutorial and this is the best!
Thank you so much!! You’re THE Best Instructor Ever!! You give such easy to follow directions that it makes all the struggles disappear when you, I, try it and it works!! Thank you Again!! God bless you!!
Thank you so much!! Excellent instructions. My threader quit working months ago. I’m in the middle of a huge project and didn’t want to take my machine to repair shop and be without it. I had it fixed within a minute if watching your video.
My husband was able to follow this although he didn't remove the mechanism. Although this wasn't a critical need for me as I can thread the needle myself manually, he thought we were going to have to haul the heavy Baby Lock Solaris in for a repair. Thank you so much Mr. Lord for providing this tutorial.
Thank you so much for this video. My threader only worked once in awhile. I just knew there had to be an answer. After watching your video several times I was ready to try it. It WORKED and now I can use all my needles. Thank you! Thank you!!!
This video was great! I watched so many and was just getting ready to bring my machine into the shop when I found your video. It worked. I am so happy. Very helpful. Thank you!
Woohoo, thank you sooooooo much. I just fixed my automatic threader. It hasn’t been working for a few weeks now. I was so bummed! You and, a lot of praying, have just made my day!
OMG!!! Thank you!! I was able to fix my needle threader because of your video. If not for you I would have had to take my Babylock Solaris to the dealer and wait at least two weeks to get her back.
Outstanding video! We had already ordered a replacement threader component for my wife’s Babylock Ellegante, but we used this video to adjust the one she had and it works now. We won’t mind having a spare. The one in the video looks to be exactly the same as what she has.
Thank you so much for this video. I saw the little piece hanging and thought I may have broken the threader. Your video definitely fixed my problem. Thank you 100 times.
Thank you thank you I had just bought a SE600 embroidery machine and the threader stop working and by watching your video I fixed it! Thank you so so much !
Thank you! After watch a myriad of videos yours actually shows what the hook that goes through the needle look like. Mine was out of alignment and it was an easy fix once I knew what I was doing!
I ordered me a new one then I watched this I fixed my needle threader without taking the old one off and it works Thank you so much sure beats having to take in for repair which is usually couple weeks
Thank you! I was just about to bring in my machine to get my threader fixed. Your video worked! I did as you suggested and my threader is now working. Amazing
❤❤❤❤Thank you so much I put on my glasses and got out a magnifying glass and voilà! It’s fixed! I haven’t been this pleased with myself in a long time . Your help has breathed fresh life into my machine and my hobby.
Thank you so much for your video and explanation...I have not been able to use the automatic needle threader on my sewing machine for about 3 years. I actually fixed it by taking your advice. The video you have is friendly.
Thank you so much for showing how to bring the needle threader down and then the clear video that showed that extra tiny right hook. I did it but only thanks to you!
THANK YOU SO MUCH KEITH. I don't have any Brother assistance in my area and i was thinking i'll never get it working again.... but i watched your video and in less than 5 min i got it working again!!!! :) OMG thank you so much
Thank you so much for a professionally produced video that showed exactly what it took to adjust my automatic threader. You have saved me many hours of work and fustration. Super !!
Thanks so much for this easy-to-follow explanation! It really saved my day (and many minutes of fumbling when trying to thread the needle manually...) 👍🏼🤩
Thank you! My Baby Lock Ballad is less than two years old! My needle threader made a little clicking noise and yes! It won't thread the needle! I am not sure I'm comfortable doing this repair - but I'm sure if I take it to the shop I will be charged $135 for initial and another $$$ for a new one!
Thanks you very much sir. I’ve just fiddled wit it for about 30 minutes and now it’s threading like new. Very much appreciated and do make more lifesaving videos like theses
Thank you! I was able to sort this issue on my Brother machine by watching this video and carefully looking at the mechanism and making a tiny adjustment. Great!
So, That's how this thing works! My problem was that my needle was not going in high enough for the hook to enter the needle eye. Cleans out the needle passage and all is good. THANK YOU!
I fixed it I fixed it I fixed it! Thank you so very much. I almost gave up but I kept trying. I really appreciate your video and the two different ways of doing it.
Thanks for this, I was able to use tiny tweezers to bend the hook so that it goes through the needle! I had been trying to push the hook back into it's original position and hadn't considered bending the tip of the hook
THANK YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1 Because of this video I do not need to take my heavy machine once again to the store... I FIXED IT! THANK YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Thank you so much for a year long issue with my machine thread tension and needle threader is sorted out.perfectly guided with precise information. THANKS A LOT.
This helped SOOO MUCH!!! I was beyond frustrated with my INNOVIS BP1200- especially because there aren’t any videos on RUclips to help with any type of troubleshooting and etc
Yes! Thank you a million times! Fixed my auto threader in middle of an embroidery project. (Innov-is NV6700D Machine). I used your technique in turning off machine after pushing needle threading button - great tip - worked for me perfectly. Great detailed tutorial.
I never could get the wire that flips off to do that so that I could get to the wire. I was able to push it back but it just would not release. so still no threader I had no problem getting the threader to be where I needed it
One question... the "little wire" that you put back into position.... what the heck is it, what is its position? My threader is working properly, but the wire just kinda hangs out and does nothing (like a teenager). Does it even have a function, or do I just wait for it to give me grandchildren and become useful to someone else?

How do you get the needle thread off the machine? I Have a Brother 8550
Thank you so much.
It's really helpful 👍
This saved me so much!!!! Thank you
Thank you very much. Looks like it's ok again. Happy days Cheers.
Brilliant video... Big thanks!
But how did you get the dohickey off the machine in order to do this fine adjusting? Did I miss that part?
I never could get the wire that flips off to do that so that I could get to the wire. I was able to push it back but it just would not release. so still no threader
I had no problem getting the threader to be where I needed it
How did you remove it from the machine to adjust?
this is what I need to know also
Do you have a video on removing the mechanism?
Thank you! I was waiting for this!
One question... the "little wire" that you put back into position.... what the heck is it, what is its position? My threader is working properly, but the wire just kinda hangs out and does nothing (like a teenager). Does it even have a function, or do I just wait for it to give me grandchildren and become useful to someone else?
How do I know what is straight? I keep trying but not sure where it has to be and its not threading? TY
You saved my life thank you haha
