Hi! Anthony!! The camping cube & the gazebo aren't really designed for long-term living space. (More like day trips) When it rains, water will come into the ground on the gazebo, even with tarps underneath. The cube is great for day camping. I would recommend an Ozark Trails 10-person tent. Easy to put up, it has a rain fly that can be removed. The height and space is great. It offers all-around coverage from rain and has great ventilation. It also has the little spot to feed your power cords through. I love it. I would keep the gazebo for my kitchen area.
Please Anthony, you may want to invest in a solid foundation for your tent. A solid tarp will protect your blow-up mattress from a puncture and protect your space from moisture. Use your rug on top of that and you've got a home. I want the best for you.
Dome tents are the best for windy situations. Put it inside of your Gazelle and it'll be similar to having a bedroom; and will give you more protection.
When I was young and out family camping.....we had one structure for cooking and hanging out at the table to play cards or games at night. Another structure for sleeping. Otherwise we were outside boating, fishing, sitting around the fire, and so on. There were a few rainstorms, we had to spend the nights in the cars to sleep. I would say, keep them both. You may like different ones for different camping places. And you can still always sleep in your car and just use the structure for cooking and hanging out space for when you are not cooking and hanging out outside. You may spend a night or two at one campsite where you just campout in the car, cook outside, sleep in the car, and so on.....and don't set up your structures. Keep your options flexible.
Hi Anthony 👋 - Thanks for your honest comparison, we appreciate your helpful product feedback! Keep in mind the E-Z UP Camping Cube is specifically designed to work with authentic E-Z UP brand canopy frames. As you've found, it may be possible to set the Camping Cube up using an off-brand (non-E-Z UP) frame, but the fit, function, and ease of installation will be compromised. We are always looking to improve our products and will consider your suggestions as we develop future Camping Cube models. PS: Please be sure to always stake your tent, we don't want you or your campsite to blow away! Take care and thanks again
Anthony, one of the best tent for you to consider is the Gazelle T4 - it's large , easy to setup and take down ( less than 2 minutes by one person), has a floor, ykk zippers, and I know it will hold up to all types of weather. In the future, just remember to open the windows to have circulation flow so that whichever tent structure you purchase it will remain stable. And yes it's more expensive... because it works.
Hello Anthony, I always ensure to give your video a thumbs up 👍 because we can always depend on you to give us something to look forward to every day. Thanks for sharing!
Anthony, invest in a good outdoors camping tent for different weather elements. Many on the market for all camping experiences. Cost a little more...but worth it.
@Life With Anthony actually alot of them now don't require you to put them together. They are kinda like just setting up a canopy. I have a 10 x 14 camping tent and put it up by myself.
I'm not big on sleeping outside. I'd sleep in my car/van and just use the tent/gazebo for cooking, hanging out and storing extra items (refrigerator, charge stations, etc.). But I know some people really like sleeping outside in a tent. Hope you find a flooring option that really works for you.
Hey Anthony, You have options with Gazelle. You can purchase the Gazebo footprint (floor) for the G5, or order the larger G6 model with the footprint. Also, consider the actual Gazelle Tents; T4 Hub (with screen room) or T8 models.
Love the video of comparison but I think I would keep the shade tent with the attachment for closing it up. You can buy some sticky side velcro and put along the top for a more secure tent
Your tent without the floor will allow snakes to crawl in no matter how many table clothes and carpets you put down .in the south and even out west you have the potential for snakes
I spent a lot of money with Amazon and just bite the bullet with things don’t work out. But as of 2023, if it doesn’t work for me, I’ve been returning. Getting my credit or money back.👍🏾✌🏾
Hi Anthony I just love your vlogs, just like you and Nomadic Introvert you two are the real Vloggers to me., Honesty, love for your audience and oh how I love you'll cooking segments. Also another fine vlogger Is RV JEDEYE His adventures and cooking segments are good too. Your FOA Squad is the best. I've never met so many kind, thoughtful, helpful and loving people in this world in a long time. That's why I spend my time with people like you'll. Believe me you'll are therapy for us.
Hey there😊 That blue tent is too rough to deal with. I’m glad to see your comparisons. That would not be for a single, disabled, or elderly person. Yeah, it needs to run on its own legs right back to the store. I’m glad it didn’t cave in on you during the storm. Thank you for the informative video. You did a wonderful job, as always 🎉 Blessings to you and the FOAS 💜💜💜🕊💜💜💜
Hi Anthony. I have a Standing Room tent that I purchased through Amazon. It’s like the cube except for it’s built a lot better. And it has high ceiling that conforms with the pop up and has a lot more connectors. For four years I put it up in May and did not take it down until late October in the Pacific Northwest. It did great throughout rain, wind and actually snow season. So it’s just a thought if one day you want a little bit more space again.
Hey Anthony I was thinking about how you take the canopy down…I always found it easier to lower the legs first then collapse the canopy. It would have made taking down the e-z up tent easier as well. You wouldn’t have had to stretch or stand on a pile of wood. Just my 2 cents. Love your videos always 🥰
Hi Anthony! I enjoyed the video❣️ A suggestion for floor covering is to get tarp or shower curtain liners from the Dollar Tree. Either one of these may be more durable than the plastic table cloths.
Hi Anthony and Chat, I’ve been watching your channel for awhile, I enjoy your content, and especially your laugh! 😂😂😂 I Pray that you get the RV you talked about yesterday! Peace and Blessings! Be Safe Always!
Blessed Monday afternoon Anthony & FOA community . Wait until I'm a bona-fide senior to be educated on van/camp life lol you excellent teacher on all fronts Anthony.💯
Hi Anthony, I was thinking that you could put down a large tarp first to cover the floor, then the carpet. However, bring the tarp up on the sides a little higher, so rain doesn't come in to wet the floor and carpet. Just a thought.
I have a 10x10 pop up tent also, I took some advice from a woman on u-tube, and she used adhesive strips of velcro and I took her advice, so I used strips along all 4 sides. So now I totally upgraded mine and also I bought 5 lb canopy weights to go around the leg stands, and I put mine up on top of concrete in my backyard.
Hi A you have to consider the rain also if the rain falls and your stuff is on the floor, they have to be secure from the 🌧because everyday isn't sun🌞shine & everyday it isn't🌧rain you have to do what's best and convenient for u also
Maybe invest in a large tarp or painters protective plastic to protect the floors when painting. Some are pretty thick🤗 but im sure u will find a solution friend🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽❤
Thanks Anthony, I don't foresee myself buying any outdoor equipment. Thanks for the tour and comparison. I am looking into a condo or a free standing home in Northern Calif. Hopefully, you will get the R.V. Best of the worlds for you! Good luck.
I absolutely love my cube. I could live in it !! Its so big and very stable being attached to the canopy..im 62 my friend is 64 we can do it ourselves but we do help each other. We each have a cube and love the room and the floor is a game changer for sure....i agree about the zippers you need 2 hands for the zipper.......and the saggy top parts....... But i still love it.
You can also buy a tarp to put down as a floor, if you are looking for something more permanent as also noted by Deborah Cargle. As a camper I firmly believe a tarp would be a better option Anthony. In camping I place one tarp over my 8 person tent to resolve any heavy rain issues, and a tarp just outside the front of the tent, which is where I keep my sneakers to keep sand/dirt out of the tent. Also noted, neither of these units are for long term camping. Nice to use for a week-end trip, but you need a real tent for longer term camping, including sleeping.
Hey Anthony! I say no to both! Do a little more research to get what you really want and need. Both of these options have to many no’s and not enough yeses!! Especially the Gazelle with no flooring. You are begging for trouble with that for sure!! Don’t settle for either when the right one is out there! Can’t wait to see what you decide 🌞
Hi Anthony! I would recommend 2 sided velcro strips to secure those sides with the one strap. The gazelle I would get some inexpensive tarp instead of keep spending money on those cheap light table clothes. Thanks for the video can't wait to see your new motor home in Florida! Look at me manifesting for you! 😊
Hi Anothny most people use the gazell tent for a camp kitchen to keep foods out of the elements and the ez up tent is for camping /sleeping type of tent the are not comparable ..
I appreciate the comparison. That EZ up don’t look so easy. I have the same gazebo up in my backyard and its pretty aerodynamic to wind and also proved to be water resistant with 1 week of rain last week here in Texas. You can order the footprint (floor) from Gazelle for the gazebo. Also Gazelle has other amazing tents with built in bathtub floors. The T3 hub tent is right at $300.
Hi Anthony, if you can keep them both, I would use the larger one to sleep in with my desk and chair and the smaller one I would use to cook. Hope it all works out for you. Thank you for sharing. Take care 🙏🏾
Hi Anthony. Look at some videos on the Gazelle T4 Plus! You would be able to have your sleeping area separate from your lounging/food prepping area all in one package. With it being Gazelle it’s easy up and down just like the Gazebo
May God be with you, Anthony we want you to be safe. If you buy that camper van you won’t need that blue tent. I am so happy you’re sending it back when it’s windy don’t sleep in that tent. We wouldn’t want you to end up in Kansas like Dorothy, on the wizard of Oz.
I think you need a regular tent, it has a lot of what you’re looking for. These things you’re using are for day shelters, not really for sleeping. We get rains, serious rain, lightning and thundering, in April and during the summers. You will need some more shelter or sleep in the van. ❤
Hey Anthony, I was really liking the EZ up tent cuz it had so much room and ventilation was awesome! However, I do understand about having to take it down and put it up by yourself, that would be a task!!! Do whatever makes you happy!! If you like the Gazelle tent better and it works for you! So be it!! Happy Early Valentines Day 💋❤
Anthony can i make a suggestion, you should probably try and find a heavy duty tarp to put on the floor of the gazebo because when it rains everything will be wet especially your power banks and cords which you don't want to spark a shortage or fire or maybe try and build some sort of platform to sit it on for when it rains.
Watch some camping trips that are in the woods. There are some really nice tents I think would serve you better. You can have a wood stove and more. I love camping.
Anthony, thanks for this comparison video. Amazon does suggest canopies that work best with the EZ UP tent. I don't know what brand you have, but maybe that would make a difference in the tent wall tension.
Thanks for the tip, we agree! The Camping Cube is designed to work perfectly with compatible E-Z UP brand canopy frames, such as the E-Z UP Pyramid and Vantage models. Setting up the Camping Cube with a different brand of canopy tent may be possible, but setup will be more difficult and the fit will be imperfect creating uneven tension.
Hey Anthony. Dollar tree well some dt's also carry those painter floor coverings and they have tarps, small ones. Dont forget your moth balls or flakes while your there for your friends. Love your videos. Love you. I really look forward to your videos i know there is going to be a chuckle in there somewhere. Thanks for sharing your life.
Lmao. I guess i should of watched the whole video 1st. Seen the moth balls and floor looks great like that. Lol Anthony. You have a harry potter tent. Looks small on outside but when you go inside your amazed. 🤣
Anthony get tarp from Lowes or Best Buy. Tarp is more durable than table clothes (dollar tree table cloths will not last, poor quality) and the tarp comes in different sizes. And the tarp is waterproof. Put it inside the Gazelle to make sure the tarp is on top of those flaps on the ground to keep the water out.
Hi Anthony try some of those velcro strips, you can get them at Walmart or pretty much anywhere. I'm enjoying your video as usual, thank you for sharing 😊
Anthony did you ever think of putting the blue canopy that you had over your Van next to the gazelle so that way when you want to be out of the gazelle you can Still have shade. So that way you can be outside but yet have the covering regarding the sun when you're sitting in your chair. So that would be considered your porch area next to your home space. And you can put your lights in everything up So it'll be lit up at night. I really truly enjoy your show!
Hi Anthony 👋 One way we decided what to keep was how many times we used it, and how frustrating it was to hav, put up, take down, excess storage, etc. You're definitely on the right track.
Hey, man! I had a crazy weekend! Woke up this morning and realized I missed three uploads! Had to catch up! LOL Great updates and I’m excited about the possible Florida residence! On another note, you should grow that beard out one time and let us see! Hahahaa! Take care, brother!
Thanks for the comparison on both the tent. Ez up and that easy. I'm sure there are some great suggestions in the comment section on more stable tents or better yet check out some of thr other vanlifers that use tents, maybe someone will give you some great suggestions that worked out for them. The blowup mattress looks really comfortable.
Sorry I jumped on the comment after listening to u more about the set up I agree with you it would be hard to set up by urself love ur videos pa girl here
nello anthony keeping the smallest camper tent is a wise idea just buy a large tarp from walmart and that way you can fold it up when you are done with it make sure it is larger then your tent
anthony i have many hidden talents outside of being a surgical nurse i’m a seamstress those things that you showed us at the top can be easily added to your blue tent. me myself i would put 4 to 6 on each side it’s an easy fix for a person that can sew.anthony get the heavy duty tarps off amazon along with zip ties for your flooring and to be used to cover the top and extra walls for your tent. order as many as you need for walls and the top and one for the floor so 5 it would be well worth it.
Great video. Ty for sharing. I like the cozy lil Gazelle too. I was going to get the smaller one just for a sitting porch & still sleep in my van. But yours looks like the right size. I have to get my son or husband to help with the pop up. I really dont like them if by myself. Is the Gaxelle lighter weight than the ezup? Also, Is it possible to lower only half of one Gazelle panel in morning? Maybe just get a small proper tent for sleeping & changing clothes, especially since the ezup has a broken bar. Just a thought. I know you'll figure out what you like best.
Keep both, and use one for cooking/dining space and the other for kicking back and sleeping. Or return both and get a real tent. And even with a real tent, you will still want to put a tarp underneath it.
Hi! Anthony!! The camping cube & the gazebo aren't really designed for long-term living space. I agree!
True..
I agree. I have the 11 person tent and I like it. Only thing that wish is that I could unzip the screen on the widows.
Dollar tree also sells tarps for flooring
I agree he should keep his food in a different area from where he sleeps
Please Anthony, you may want to invest in a solid foundation for your tent. A solid tarp will protect your blow-up mattress from a puncture and protect your space from moisture. Use your rug on top of that and you've got a home. I want the best for you.

Hi Anthony
Please take a look at some of the other Gazelle tents. I have two them . They have floors in them.
Hi Anthony invest in a good tent. I have the gazebo it’s not that great during bad weather keep in mind if it rains the floor will get wet inside.
This is so helpful watching you travel from campground to campground has made me want to give it a try
I do understand about having to take it down and put it up by yourself, that would be a task!!! Do whatever makes you happy!!
Hi Anthony, I think a tarp will work well underneath the canopy. But if it rains you'll get water on the inside.
The Dollar Tree has tarps. They will last longer.
I was going to say the same thing. Suggest he get a tarp!
I like how you hooked it up. It looks cozy.
Hi Anthony. I have a Standing Room tent that I purchased through Amazon. It’s like the cube except for it’s built a lot better. I suggest the Russian Bear tent Anthony. Padded floor, stove, window. It's kind of pricey but it's really nice.

The Gazelle look like it’ll work until you get your RV! I Love Cozy!
Hello Anthony! Happy Monday to you ☺️ Blessings and stay safe out there ❤️
Hey Anthony.
Hi Anthony! Can you just stick the velcro half way down! That way you can still get air and everything won't be exposed! Just a thought!
Hi Anthony 👋
One way we decided what to keep was how many times we used it, and how frustrating it was to hav, put up, take down, excess storage, etc. You're definitely on the right track.
Hello Anthony you could get you some Velcro and I think it would work!! The gazebo is smaller but if you feel safer then use that buddy!,😊❤😊❤😊
Wow very nice perfect, Anthony
I feel you! POP UPS ARE LIFE HONEY!
You know that SQUIRREL was watching you right. LOL
Hehehehe
Hey Anthony 😊 Happy Valentine’s Day ❤ You forgot to mention your SQUIRREL 🐿️ friend 🤣🤣🤣 Be safe. Have a wonderful week ahead 😊
Hey, man! I had a crazy weekend! Woke up this morning and realized I missed three uploads! Had to catch up! LOL Great updates and I’m excited about the possible Florida residence!
On another note, you should grow that beard out one time and let us see! Hahahaa! Take care, brother!
I was sitting here watching your video I'm wore out from you taking down the big tent love you Anthony have to go take a nap now😂😂😂😂😂
😂
I like it Anthony ☀️it’s Cozy❣️
Easy up ended up being Hard up. Thanks for the honest review
Happy Monday y'all ☺️☺️
Thanks for the comparison on both the tent. Ez up and that easy. I'm sure there are some great suggestions in the comment section on more stable tents or better yet check out some of thr other vanlifers that use tents, maybe someone will give you some great suggestions that worked out for them. The blowup mattress looks really comfortable.
Sorry I jumped on the comment after listening to u more about the set up I agree with you it would be hard to set up by urself love ur videos pa girl here
Hi Anthony, maybe you should return the EZ up and purchase a larger gazelle with a floor and windows... Just a thought. Enjoy your camping.
Very informative, I can't wait to see if you get the New Property at the Campsite. Keep us in the know......
Hay 🌞 Anthony Maybe try the gazelle t4 personal hub tent ⛺
Can't wait to see the video of what happened during the rain in that easy up tent ⛺ lol 😂😂
nello anthony keeping the smallest camper tent is a wise idea just buy a large tarp from walmart and that way you can fold it up when you are done with it make sure it is larger then your tent
anthony i have many hidden talents outside of being a surgical nurse i’m a seamstress those things that you showed us at the top can be easily added to your blue tent. me myself i would put 4 to 6 on each side it’s an easy fix for a person that can sew.anthony get the heavy duty tarps off amazon along with zip ties for your flooring and to be used to cover the top and extra walls for your tent. order as many as you need for walls and the top and one for the floor so 5 it would be well worth it.
