I always like to see the prompts for chatgpt. I use it for the creation part because it's much faster. Usually to give me idea to work on. Like street names, characters, shops.

@@DungeonsAndDrams can even use it make tables. Like taverns, monsters, encounters. Just have it make a list of 6 taverns with the things needed each tavern then roll 1d6 when needed.

I love using ChatGPT to help me produce DnD content for a lot of things.
However one should be careful not to rely on it too much. It has consistency problems, will mix up facts. Also it has a tendency of doing things a certain way. It has already great variance in many areas, but sometimes it just is rigid. It cannot grasp its mistakes sometimes. When I asked it to produce a last-name for an elf, that was not a compound( shadowstride, skywalker, fireguzzler, y' know the names with 2 words in em) it did not adjust for 5 times until it did something random I guess.
It is a fantastic tool to get going. Inspiration to GET creative. This has been said in the video repeatedly and I can only second this sentiment.
But once your world gets intricate and interconnected it will not keep up in my experience. That remains our job as DMs. This also goes for chats that are going on for longer. It forgets.
It also acts always 100% confident like a polititian, even when it is wrong, like a polititian. It will not tell you that it is unsure. Never.
In creating story content, characters, themes, topics, etc. it just seems not to be able to create adversity well. It has been trained to exclude controversity. It is cancel culture 100%. It is apologetic to the extreme and this will show in the content it creates.
It is like a meeseeks box. It generates good things for isolated problems. Don't get too compicated or it will get confused.
Unlike a meeseeks box it does not try to kill you or you friends if it cannot help you right. Play around but pay attention to what it writes. One will get a feel and recognize the mistakes it does.

Really liked your map particularly the Disintegrated Lands, that was drawn really well. What program did you use. Looks like CC3. Your video was really good too. I have used it for making dungeons. City building is a great idea as well. Great video keep it up.

Thanks for the feedback! It was a combo of hand drawn to figure out what I really wanted, then I made it in inkarnate. It's a great program, they have a free version as well!

within D&D? Totally should be able to. Try things like "name some bakery items that you'd find in a dwarvish bakery" or "name a plant you'd find in the underdark"
      things like that

@@cameoshadowness7757 That makes sense. I will say, I was able to get ChatGPT to come up with custom cocktails based off of loose criteria and descriptions of where the cocktails came from. It's able to do way more than you think, give it a try and see what happens!
